Summary:
Ellie believed she was more Phantom than Fenton. How many adventures Dad and Team got into sometimes defied logic. And with all their sincere irritation, they swore at the cursed Fenton family name, and maybe a little at Danny's own natural bad luck.
Unfortunately, and to the detriment of her plans, Ellie will have to understand the hard way that she has inherited a lot more than she would like.
Does anyone have head cannons for what ethnicities the ghosts could be? Like, everything in the show seems pretty divorced from culture in general, because early 2000s show for general audiences but I'm kinda curious. (I strongly reject whatever the hell b*tch heart attack said about ghosts not actually being human and actually just monsters from another dimension making up stories about human lives.) We've seen a bit of Desiree's background, and Dora and her kingdom are European or at least based on old Europe. Vlad has a Russian sounding name and silver hair which is pretty characteristic. (Did you know that if you look up if Vlad is Russian, they say that Danny is French-American? You do now.)
They don't really do much with them and they kind of went in a different direction after Phantom Planet (which I'm politely choosing not to comment on and pretending did not happen) but I kinda wanted to see Danny spending Christmas with Tucker or a couple days of Hanukkah with Sam or celebrating Dia De Los Muertos (Day of The Dead!) or to have Paulina's Quinceñera be a plot point for one of the episodes in the fashion of typical teenage tv drama.
I want to see more of the extended Fenton family's shenanigans. I want to see the other characters relationships with their families. I want to know the background characters' (at least the other A-listers and maybe Mikey) last names! (And on that note, I kind of want Wes to be a character. The fandom could probably come up with his lore since they came up with him.) I want to see if the Guys In White have lives outside of their work or at least have it vaguely hinted at.
I want all the ghosts' lore (as in the backstories of the ghosts that frequently fight Danny). I want fond reminiscing of their families/jobs/special interests or complete refusal to talk about their lives. Pain from the loss of it all or from bad memories. Ghosts who are completely divorced from their pasts, not because of any bad things that happened, but because what they have as a ghost is so much better. Ghosts who can't even remember their pasts because it's been so long since they were alive and all that's left are vague impressions of memories. Have any of their friends or family members become ghosts? How much of their pasts do they remember, and how much of that influences how they act now?
Why does Youngblood hate adults so much? What led Spectra to start feeding on negative emotions, was she always that bad? Why was Vlad alone in the hospital during his death/treatment, where was his family? How did he hide that whole incident or cover it up? Did he even bother, or did he just pay the doctors not to publish their discoveries? Worse, what else would he have done to silence them? Did he hurt any of them by accident? (It would've been a lot more interesting to see the GIW or some other character *cough*Wes*cough* dig into his past for some reason and stumble upon his old hospital records and Danny has to help him either disprove/destroy the records to stop mutual outings or kickstart Vlad's redemption arc while hiding him and finally revealing himself to his parents. (Looking at you, Phantom Planet))
Also I would very much like to see more of the different cultures in the Realms. I want to hear about how existing ones grow and adapt in the Realms vs in the human world, cultures that started because of new races and groups, how wars and fatal (for ghosts) battles in the Zone would look and how they've shaped the people there, different taboos and Holidays that emerged, how most wounds and conditions are recoverable unless they have some psychological impact, if Blood Blossoms were ever a major issue, if ghosts and humans have had major friction before and what that would have looked like, how humans got stories of cryptids since (based off the Yetis in the Far Frozen) they're apparently residents of the Realms, would new art and music and structures have emerged or is some part of the dead still stuck in the past while the Neverborns are slow to change. All that jazz.
As a very, very, VERY early and light interest check, would people be interested in a LotM Big Bang next year (or reverse big bang, if there are a lots more artists into the idea and/or people want the writing count lowered)?
*a fandom Big Bang is an event that puts writers and artists together with a deadline to create collaborative projects together.
Might participating in LotM Big Bang 2026
Yes!! I would write/draw for it!
No, I'm not an artist or writer but it'd be cool to see
I'm not sure, but it's a possibility for me / maybe

Recently I’ve been thinking about the different types of love languages in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, The S-Classes That I Raised, and Lout of the Count’s Family…
Not to say that each of the stories describes only one single kind of love language; they are, after all, all novels that focus on Found Family, with many different types of relationships between characters that express their love for each other in as many different ways.
Yet, I’ve noticed how at the core of each of these three stories there is one specific act of love that recurs more than others, and that becomes the true Theme each novel revolves around.
In Lout of the Count’s Family, the main love language is providing food and a home.
“Home” is such an important concept in LCF that Cale collects houses like they were pokemon cards. The source of his trauma when he was a child as Kim Roksu was that he was not given sufficient food, and that where he lived was not truly a shelter where he could feel safe, just a place he was trapped in.
And I don’t think there are ever more than 2 chapters in a row without a character offering food to others, or asking if they’re hungry, if they’ve eaten, why haven’t you eaten, here have some apple pie!!
Cale uses his newfound money and power to make sure his loved ones are provided for. That’s how he adopts bonds with most of his new family.
The first thing Raon does after he’s freed from the prison he’s been trapped in all his life, is to leave food for this hopelessly weak human.
Choi Han, who has lived alone in a dangerous forest for decades, would do anything to protect his home.
The Crown Prince, who has been isolated and untrusting of everyone ever since his mother died, makes sure to always have cookies in his bedroom in case guests “break in” for a visit at any time of the day or the night.
I love you, you’ll never be hungry again. I love you, my home is your home.
In The S-Classes That I Raised, the main love language is words.
Yoojin’s powers are literally activated by telling people “I love you”. Because all he ever wanted was to say “I love you” to his brother one last time.
Because the tragedy that starts the story happens because Yoohyun loved and protected his hyung in secret for years. Silence creates misunderstandings, it creates distance, it leads to loss.
Loving someone isn’t enough, tell them! Reassure them. Remember what they say, because their words are important!!
Ever since the regression, Yoojin always let people know when he loves them and appreciates them. “You’re perfect, you’re cute, you’re so talented, you’re so handsome, you are loved.”
And as the novel progresses, whenever Yoojin is in pain, or doesn’t know what to do, he turns to Sung Hyunje because he needs to be reassured, he needs to know he did well, he needs to hear he is still important to the people he loves.
I love you, please know that I love you! I love you, please tell me you love me back.
And finally, in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, the main love language is time.
Time is one of the greatest sources of horrors in ORV. Eternities upon eternities of suffering, being trapped for ages in the same, hopeless loop, wishing for everything to just stop.
And yet, time is also the greatest gift characters give to each other.
Because the wounds Dokja suffered as a child, and then again and again through his whole life…. They need time to heal. They need so much time. They will probably take forever.
So let them take forever.
Despite how much pain and worry he causes his companions by giving up on himself over and over again, his companions never give up on him. And he doesn’t understand why!! He doesn’t think he’s worth it. But it’s not his choice, it’s theirs. And they will go through as many tries, as much pain, as much time as it takes, before they can finally save him.
I love you, so I will wait fifty years for you. I love you, so I will live through thousands of lifetimes to find you. I love you, so I will read and reread your story for the rest of time, just to keep you alive.

There is hc (or canon whatever) that Danny want be a normal kid.
Even before incident it's overwhelming to deal with being child of crazy scientists and in shadow of genius sister. And then he died and turned to half-ghost, that unintentionally became a hero (Danny: doubtful) and target for his parent, ghost-hunters and in the end for ghost.
And what if his friends understand that?
There are some discussions that Sam doesn't so gothish as she can(must?) be and rewrite that, but if she purposely goes not so hard in goth theme? She cannot change her character, and in fact there is no need in it bc Danny likes her true personality. But she can just look close to normality keep light vibe of who is she. So she share with him some weight of tags 'crazy', but not overwhelming.
Vice versa with Tucker. His family a sample of a normal middle family. He likes meat, play video games, work with his phone, and in fact its are all in a sphere of normality. Well, maybe a little vibe of nerd i think, but it's okay and he can be popular in good sense (idk with American school but in my country, city, being clever one in whatever subject - mean to be bound with all clasmates and even in other group too. I think it's logical, especially when I don't understand smth). So he plays in more weirdo style(?) It's not his mask, it means just not hiding some edge of his character: be chatty about tech, flirty with girls, not likes meat, but loves one and etc. Well, he is not completely overstepping the boundary of craziness, hey, but he tries to it!
All their actions make friendship as comfort zone for Danny. And ofc he returns it being part of their interests.
Hey so I’ve got a particular concept that I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else bring up, so I’ll put it out here because I’d really like to know others’ thoughts and input on it.
You know how Danny tends to revert to his human form when he’s weakened or gets knocked out or whatever? Well what if, instead of that, he gets stuck in whatever form he’s in until he’s got enough strength to change back?
Hang on, hear me out first:
Canonically speaking, Danny isn’t just a human with ghost powers. He’s half ghost. It’s stated over and over again. And the entire “Identity Crisis” episode clearly shows Phantom and Fenton as two halves of a whole. Yet the show tends to treat Danny’s human form as his “default”. But personally, I like to think that Danny doesn’t actually have a default form. He’s no more human than he is ghost, right?
Ok, so with that in mind, my personal headcanon is that Danny (and all other halfas, btw) can stay in whichever form for as long as he wants, and no matter what happens (ex. if he falls unconscious he doesn’t change back) BUT it takes effort on his part to switch between forms, whether it be ghost or human. If he’s weakened too much, he can’t do it.
Been seeing the concept of ghost hunger circulating lately. I think this could make for one way of Danny being forced to come to grips with the knowledge that his ghost half requires sustenance just like his human half. Maybe one day he can't change back because his human morals stop him from cannibalizing like all the other ghosts do. Until he finally just has choose to either give in before anyone notices that Danny Fenton is gone, or watch as his ghost form wastes away into nothing while missing posters with his face on them are distributed throughout the city.
Or things like a particularly hard fight, or his ghostly wail? He better be careful because he’s near completely powerless as Phantom until he recovers from it... it’d be unfortunate if his parents caught him before he gathered enough energy to change back. Be a shame if they get out the scalpels too soon. Pity that they didn’t believe him when he said he was their son.
Tough luck that he couldn't prove it soon enough..
Danny was sure he had fallen asleep. It was comfortable under a relaxing massage, calm with a soothing scent, secluded in the silence of the balcony. He would have hugged Sam forever.
Until he realized that someone else was nearby. Sam took over the conversation, and the other side was whispering from the entrance.
- …with a speech, and that's what the host of the ball does, but…
- Who?.. - Danny sleepily turned his head back, not letting Sam out of his arms. - Quill? Hmm… ball?
- Your Highness, good morning, - Quil grinned and nodded at him. - The ball is coming to an end. Don't worry, I'll finish it, but I advise you to rest for now. It's been a tough week.
- It's all right…
- Danny, - Sam hissed at his side.
- It's okay, Sam, - Danny turned to her, releasing embrace. He tucked one of her curls behind her ear. - I'll finish the ball and go to bed.
She stared at him intently, searching for something before nodding reluctantly.
- You better be.
Danny followed Quill into the hall. The music was playing softly, but the dancers were gone. All the guests were standing in groups near the buffet tables, slowly drinking champagne.
- Did I interrupt you?
Quill's unexpected question threw Danny off his guard. If he hadn't known his assistant well, he wouldn't have noticed how under the prim indifference there was a gleam of black eyes and narrowing pupils, and a slight glow on the blue skin of the cheeks.
- It's not what you think, - Danny whispered back. He hoped his face wasn't burning like hell.
“Oh, Ancients, what I did,” - his brain became helpful at the wrong time: a faint feeling of the softness of her lips on his and a sweet aftertaste on his tongue filled his thoughts.
He fucked up so damn much.
Sam is his friend. His best friend and, together with Tucker, they have always cherished this friendship.
- I wasn't thinking about anything, - Quil chuckled, hiding it behind a cough. They had already reached the stairs leading to the royal wing. - I didn't know you wore purple lipstick.
Danny immediately ran his finger over his lips. He saw a purple mark on his white gloves. And if he had been holding on before, now he could feel his cheeks and ears warming up.
- Quill, this is…
- Not what I think, I get it, - his triumphant smile was killing Danny. He wanted to reach the wide staircase platform safely so that he could finish all the royal duties. - Hmm, should I order purple lipstick from the Green Islands for you?
The Ancients hated him. He almost stumbled on the last few steps and glared at Quill. Unaffected by his frightening aura, he smiled politely before standing behind him on the left side. And Danny had to calm himself down, a wave of cold passed from his core, sobering his head.
With a wave of his hand, the huge chandelier in the center of the hall went out, instead candles lit on the walls. The music died down, and the guests' attention was drawn to the towering figure of the Crown Prince.
- Ladies and Gentlemen! This evening is coming to an end, and the era of the rule of the Pariah Dark has now sunk into oblivion, - applause was heard from all sides. - With joint efforts, Infinite Realms will regain their former glory. In the meantime, let the stars light your way.
As if on cue, the ceiling began to shine. Stars sparkled there, comets flew by, and distant galaxies exploded. The applause grew louder, and a murmur of voices went through the crowd about the new Heir.
Danny was already climbing the stairs, leaving Quill to send the guests out of the hall, and went out into the corridor. As he made his way through the long labyrinths of the palace to his office, he returned his focus to his next meetings. It would be worth checking in with Frostbite for the latest news, and also sending someone to Tucker.…
- You promised to go to sleep after the ball.
Almost jumping, Danny turned around. Sam was leaning against the wall at the turn of the corridor where his bedroom were located, still wearing the same short black dress. Her arms were crossed over her chest, her eyebrows were furrowed, and her eyes shone maroon.
- Oh, Sam, - his rarely working heart lost its rhythm. Danny raised his hand, ruffling his hair like an old habit due to awkwardness. - I was on my way to it...
- To the office? - she stared at him intently as she came closer.
- Yes… that is, no! - he was slowly retreating. - Uhm… I have a comfortable sofa there?
Instead of answering, Sam grabbed his wrist and led him down another corridor to his bedroom , and he didn't resist.
The silence, like on a balcony, returned. Following her, he still felt the soothing scent of meadow flowers, a slight squeeze on his wrist, which made him want to take off his gloves. Was he under hypnosis to not notice how they reached his room? Maybe.
It was dark inside, the curtains were closed, blocking out the natural light of the Ghost Zone. They stopped near the sofa and ottomans, Sam directed a thin ectolight into a lamp with embers on the table. A muted green glow illuminated the room, outlining their silhouettes. It wasn't that they needed light to see in the dark, but it gave the bedroom a strange warmth and added to the moment of intimacy.
- We-ell, here you are, - Sam whispered, and turned to face Danny, letting go of his wrist. - You should rest now!
Her cheeks were still greenish, and her pupils had changed to a lighter shade. She's still so beautiful, and Danny was so weak in front of her. Could he?
- I'll do it now…
Sam quickly walked over to the table with the lamp. On her back, he could see vines crawling out of the bodice of her dress. Small purple flowers began to grow on them, and she slowly picked them.
- Wait, Sam, - he stopped the hand that was picking the flowers and turned her body back to face him. The light gleam of her eyes hit him hard. - It's hurting you.
- Not so much… maybe it's tingling, - her gaze dropped to her hand with two flowers. - It's just that when I don't sleep well, aromatherapy helps me. Don't you want to try it?
Danny also looked at the flowers. They are small, no bigger than a fingernail, with delicate petals, dark purple on the outside and light inside. Without hesitation, he bent his head towards her hand and ate them. It doesn't taste anything special.
- Huh? - he looked up at the shocked Sam with parted lips. - Danny, did you eat them?
- Yes? - He ran his tongue over the roof of his mouth. - Herbal and slightly tart taste.
Suddenly Sam was shaking, laughter bursting out of her, and her hand was holding onto the fabric of his uniform to keep from falling.
- Oh, Ancients, you literally decided to try the flower, - she was still laughing as she spoke, and only now could Danny understand what he had done wrong.
One part of him wanted to sink into the ground and forget about tonight to get rid of his embarrassment. While the other one was watching Sam so happy, and it was all worth her smile.
Soon she calmed down and straightened up, standing still. They were standing close, almost side by side, as one of his hands held her waist. Danny could count her eyelashes, the bright lavender pupils sparkling beneath them. And the stupid brain went even lower to see her lips. Purple lipstick glistened on them, and there was a little smudge at the corners, most likely because of him.
His hand reached for her cheek, tracing the corner of her lips with his thumb. It was a second before she relaxed in his arms and closed her eyes, he moved closer and kissed her. Sweet again, a little bitter and so heady.
Has it been an eternity or is it just a moment when they broke away. Danny felt the warmth on his hands, and the core was buzzing inside him. It was as if he had been thrown into a cloud from the Dark Heaven, so pleasant and comfortable. And, as if going to the last verdict, he kissed her once more, a light touch imprinting with lipstick.
Now hiding his face on her shoulder, Danny waited. Maybe a scream and a slap in the face, like in the movies, or would she have pushed him away and left without saying a word? Instead, he felt her wrap her arms around his neck, run her fingers through his hair, and begin massaging his head. His body quickly relaxed with a blissful sigh. He seemed to be dreaming already.
- Go to bed, - she whispered in ear, - and have a good rest.
“I want to stay like this,” - he tightened his grip and turned his head. The smell of meadow flowers was overwhelming.
- Danny, - she called and got no answer, sighing heavily.
She lifted Danny's head, who was on the verge of sleep. He didn't want to leave, and his heart increased its desire, defying logic. All he had to do was let Sam do whatever she needed while he soaked up her presence with his starved core.
She unhooked the coat from his shoulder, throwing it somewhere in the direction of the sofa. Her hands undid the buttons of his uniform, then the waistcoats, which went after the cloak. The cufflinks were removed from his shirt sleeve, the handkerchief was untied, and together with a pair of unbuttoned collar buttons, Danny was finally freed from strangulation.
With a satisfied nod, Sam turned away, heading for the bed. Along the way, the strap fell off her, the train remained on the carpet, dark shoes were kicked off next to her.
Danny looked at her with a lost look. He had absolutely no idea what to do, his thoughts were fixated on Sam, on her touch, on her scent. And only the pitiful remnants of his rationality stopped him from doing even more stupid things. They're still friends, aren't they?
- Danny, - his focus returned to the real Sam, who was lying on the bed with her arms outstretched. - Come here.
It took a second to be at the edge of the bed.
- Take off your shoes.
He undid the lock, kicked off his shoes on the carpet, somewhere next to her things.
- Get down, - she patted the spot next to her.
He climbed onto the bed, carefully settling down next to her. The dark sheets blended with her dress, and highlighted white skin. Her eyes are slightly narrowed, and lips are tightly compressed.
- Just… just hug me, - her outstretched arms urged to come closer.
And Danny… was so damn weak to fight the desire of his heart. Burying his face in her neck again, he pulled her to him. The same scent of meadow flowers relaxed him, and her fingers returned to brushing hair.
In the comfort of a warm embrace, he was finally able to fall into a peaceful sleep.
Halfas are like Apex predators if they half-died in spesific conditions
Have nocturnal vision
Keen sense of smell, better than most ghosts
The last bullet goes for sight, taste, touch, and hearing
rare cases, Halfas will have Infrared vision. (Danny has this, Vlad does not, explanation soon)
Halfas can and will stalk their prey, easily blending in with surroundings
Danny:
Danny has Infrared vision and can flip it on and off whenever he wants it to
He at times act like a large cat when seeing blob ghosts, slowly sneaking up onto them before grabbing them and eating the blob(s)
Danny sometimes goes feral, and Amity Parkers since learned that he cannot control it
Danny has taken an interest in crime documentaries, specifically about the killers who were cannibalistic(hinting at he might have cannibalistic tendencies himself)
Since his entire body got blasted/crushed by the portal opening onto his body + the electricty, he had got the whole apex predator package deal. Claws, smell, taste, hearing, touch, you get it
Vlad:
Has the same senses as a regular ghost, inhanced for a normal human though.
From his half-death being smaller and only contacting his face, he is weaker than Danny, however Vlad doesn't know this.
Still hunts blob ghosts but doesn't have that cannibalistic urge Danny has.
Has claws
In the future when he encounters a feral Danny he finds out how horrifying Danny can be
I love hc with animal shaped structure of ghost. And if I can add
I like imagine that ghosts must eat ectoplasm, and not any, but with 'life' one. Yeah, 'life' ectoplasm is ghost. That ectoplasm, as own type of energy, included like emotions, thoughts, dreams, after all soul. It's like food with all minerals. So, ghosts have some inner structure of organism - organ to digest all that stuff. Ofc, there are different type of ghosts, and rare one of them those, who's diet without life ectoplasm (or it's not important), for example, Nocturn, who consume dreams, Spectra, who eats suffering, Undergrowth, who take sun light, etc.
Danny doing injection with pure ectoplasm is like take glucose. It gives energy in quick way, but still not fully satisfy him. So, eventually he will go to hunt...
so i was just watching a video about space, right? allegedly, turns out if you (an american) wanna board the international space station you must speak russian fluently since the only way to get there is by a russian shuttle and pilot (nasa apparently ended their own shuttle program way back when??) (don’t quote me on this)
so picture danny learning russian at a relatively young age for the sole hope of going to space and such, and it coming out every once in a while when he’s mumbling or something like that (it’s basically second nature to him)
so danny ends up at gotham for whatever reason (demon twins, reveal gone wrong, idc, they’re all cool) and he wants to start anew, so he pretends to only speak russian?? ig?? it’d make for some funny/interesting BatFam interactions i suppose
i don’t know where i was going with this but i want to read prompts of danny speaking russian
So, yeah, I know Jason can speak Russian in canon, but even if all the Bats can, it might not help them.
Because the thing about Russian is that it has the weirdest fucking grammar and sentence structure, and you can miss half of the words you need to say, make up completely new words as you go and you will still be understood, given that you follow the rules of word-forming. There are suffixes and prefixes and all that crap, and Russian is really, really flexible.
What I'm saying is that Danny doesn't have to speak proper Russian. The Bats can learn it all they want and he - given he learned it early on and he was aiming for fluency in it - can still speak in absolute nonsense. And it's not a made-up language, because a fluent or a native speaker would understand him easily.
Imagine the confusion of Bats, who are still catching some parts of words and sentences they can understand, but it never makes complete sense.
The word 'bat' translates to летучая мышь, which is 'flying mouse' word for word. It's usually shortened to just мышь, 'mouse', when speaking in context. Danny would absolutely call all the Bats 'mice' in Russian.
Names have different pronunciation in Russian. There is a name similar to Daniel in Russian, but it's pronounced [Dani'la], [Dani'l] or [Danee'l]. Vlad would totally use the first one just because it gives him an opportunity to yel DANILAAAAAAH across the room. Because 'Daniel' just ends with a consonant too soon.
Going along with Vlad being Russian or at least of Russian descent (because you can pry that headcanon from my cold, dead hands), there has to be a storage room in his mansion that is there for just random preserves and stuff. Pickles, cabbage, tomatoes, apple jams, boiled and preserved fruit drinks, all kinds of things. Russians will pickle anything, and if you can't pickle it, they'll find a way. I swear every Slavic person gets this insane urge to can and pickle stuff around late August or early September. It's in the DNA.
What I'm saying with this is that when you go down Vlad's basement, there's the door to his mad scientist lab on the right, and on the left, there's this:
He calls it his [pogreb], погреб. It translates to 'cellar', and that's close but not exactly on point; it's a word used to indicate a dug out (because temperature is lower underground, which serves as a makeshift fridge) dark bunker that's usually standing separate from the house, in the backyard. Just, like, a random door that leads into the earth. It also has the same root as погребение, 'burial'.
Another one for Vlad: given that his full name would be Vladimir, his short name in Russian is not 'Vlad'. Because Russian has its own set of established short names, don't ask, it's just how it is. The short name for Vladimir is Вова, 'Vo'va', or Вован, 'Vova'n' (this one is more familiarly used between close friends). Speaking of, 'Vlad' is a short name for a completely different full name: Vladislav.
The word 'shit' sounds exactly like щит, which is 'shield'. The shenanigans of Danny purposefully misunderstanding it could be hilarious.
On the topic of curses, Russians have only started using the middle finger gesture after appropriating it from Western countries (not sure when exactly, don't quote me on this). Before that, there was a 'фига', which looks like this
It is still used, but as a more of a gesture of mildly annoyed refusal. Saying фиг вам, [fig vam] and showing that is pretty much equivalent to saying 'fat chance' or 'yeah, no' in a sarcastic manner.
Most of the Batfamily aliases (and really all the superhero names) have never been adapted in Russian translations, because they sound absolutely fucking ridiculous when translated. Some of them are too long — Batman would be человек-летучая-мышь, which is a mouthful — and some are just bad or don't make sense. There are exceptions such as Wonderwoman, Чудо-женщина, which is great, and Red Hood, but his name is... well. It's Красный Колпак, and, if you go word for word, it's 'Red Lid'. As in, like, a pen lid or a car wheel rim (it's also called a lid in Russian). Also, the first thing that associates with the word 'колпак' (hood) in Russian is a birthday hat.
Russian!Vlad would drink tea. The tea culture in Russia is almost as bad as in the UK (so I've heard), but it's a bit less complex, I think. Still, inviting someone for a short, friendly visit into their home would likely be phrased as 'Would you stay for tea?' or 'Let's go have tea at my place'. Also, when you come to a Russian family dinner, you're expected to bring something sweet 'for tea' because family dinners always end in having tea and eating sweets. The size and price of your sweet tea gift usually reflect your position in the family, so the closer you are related to the hosting family, the cheaper it can be. Can be, not to say will be; depending on many factors, people will bring all kinds of things, but if you're a part of liked, blood-related family, no one is going to bat an eye if you show up with a pack of crackers. On the other hand, an outsider or a first-time guest will be side-eyed if they do the same.
What I'm getting at with this tea-related rant is that, one, Vlad would definitely show up with a fucking cake if he's informally invited to Waynes, and Danny, depending on his immersion in the culture, would likely try doing the same as well. It's a polite thing to do. On the other hand, Danny might act all offended about Bats showing up at his place without a tea gift just because he's a little shit.
Most Russians have never seen a bear eye-to-eye except in a zoo, but they will joke about bears and vodka anyway. Danny introducing Wulf as his pet bear is an absolutely great, awful idea. But that's a wolf! No, it's a pet bear. Are you doubting his expertise? Same goes for Cujo, actually.
Russian idioms are wild. Saying 'I ate a dog over something' is to say 'I'm highly knowledgeable about something'. 'That's where the dog is buried' is 'That's the root of the problem'. 'So much money that chickens won't eat it' is to say someone is filthy rich. 'Shooting sparrows with a cannon', or, alternatively, 'killing fish with an atomic bomb' is an overexaggerated solution to an insignificant problem. 'Make an elephant out of a fly' is 'make a big deal out of something small'.
Is it only me who imagine work of Infinite Realms/Ghost Zone like Spirit World in LoTM? IR connects to all worlds and times, and ghost (spirit creature) lives here. As in Spirit World. Or To get more wide association IR like Nether in Minecraft.
And because of that I like hc that through IR ghost can travel faster than in Real World. For example! From Amity Park to Vlad's castle let's say 5 hours on car in reality, but through IR it will only 30 minute!
Usually, the destruction after the battle with the ghost was dismantled by hired workers.
Except this time was a weak ghost with aquatic abilities. It didn't take long for Danny to catch him. He looked around and noticed water dripping from all the floors of the school. The students went out onto the football field, where his class was already in physical education class.
He made his way behind the stands, where he quickly changed his appearance. With a dim glow, Fenton appeared in place of the Phantom in sweatpants and a hoodie.
Danny squeezed through the crowds of wet students due to the attacks of the ghost to his classmates. They were the least fortunate of all, caught under the last water bubble, which almost washed them off the field. His gaze quickly swept over everyone. There were no serious wounds, maybe scratches or bruises that had already been treated by doctors.
However, the doctor and Mr. Lancer gathered in one place. Danny frowned when he saw them fluttering over Sam, who was sitting on the grass. She stretched out her right leg, which had a bandage around her ankle and foot.
- Miss Manson, are you sure everything's okay? - Mr. Lancer asked, sounding too tired.
- I already said I'm fine.
Sam turned away and rolled her eyes, as if she believed she hadn't been noticed. Finally, she saw Danny and waved her hand.
- Mr. Fenton, - Mr. Lancer also spotted him, giving him a careful look, and sighing when he couldn't find any wounds. - Please keep an eye on Miss Manson.
- Of course, Mr. Lancer.
Finally, the teacher and the doctor went to the other students. Danny noticed Sam sighing heavily. She twisted her leg, and the only indication of pain was her furrowed brows.
- Well... - Danny knelt down, his hand running over her shin, moving closer to the bandages. - What happened?
- Nothing serious, just a bruise. It doesn't hurt anymore, - she shook her leg for emphasis, but her eyebrows twitched. - It's okay, honestly. Everything will heal tomorrow.
- Sam.
- Okay! All right! - She crossed her arms, but with her pouty mouth, she looked too cute for Danny. - I just decided that pushing Star away from the epicenter of the water bubble wasn't a stupid idea, but I didn't have time to move away and I was washed away, which caused me to hit the handrail on the exercise equipment. Satisfied?
- It would be better if there were no injuries, - Danny smiled at her rolling eyes. - Where's Tucker?
- He went after Val, - her gaze caught on the school building. - She went to the bathroom right after you left, and she's probably still inside.
His hand gently rested over the bruise, the irises of his eyes seemed to sparkle with Arctic blue with white veins. Unnoticeable if don't look closely. With a grateful sigh, Sam rested her head on his shoulder and relaxed into the soothing cold.
No matter how miraculous the healing factor of a half-ghost was, there would still be pain in the human form.
- I checked quickly, but there was nothing dangerous at school except wet floors, - his free arm wrapped around her waist. - Damn, wait, you're wet!
- Captain Obvious, - Sam pulled back the edge of the hoodie and let go, causing the fabric full of water to flop back down. - Wet hoodies are the worst…
- Better take it off so you don't get sick, - Danny picked her up from his shoulder and worriedly stroked her side under her clothes. - You're already cold!
- Nothing critical.
- Sam… - he stared at her with a puppy dog look that she couldn't refuse. - Take it off?
- …but I only have a sports top under it, - she sighed, resigned to her boyfriend's concern.
- You can have mine, - happy that she had listened, he flipped the edge of the hoodie over himself in one motion. Sticking out his hands, he straightened his pulled-up T-shirt, and handed over the clothes. - Here.
- Are you sure? - She glanced at him as she accepted the hoodie. Her eyes quickly swept over his body: the white T-shirt wasn't tight, but it clearly told more about his figure than the baggy sweatshirts. Not to mention the short sleeves. Strong hands with fine veins looked very hot. - You don't like to wear only a T-shirt.
- I have compression sleeves in my locker, - he shrugged, - and this is the last lesson.
She took another look at him, and after making sure of something, she began to take off her hoodie. Wet and heavy, it is difficult to remove it carefully. With Danny's help and wriggling movements, she finally got out. The black sports top with a spiderweb pattern wasn't really dry, but there was nothing to replace it.
The cool September air on wet skin wasn't the most pleasant feeling. She quickly began to put on Danny's hoodie. Much larger than her size, with the residual warmth of his body and a slight smell of ozone and citrus. Purely to keep warm, she tightened the laces on her hood, sinking even more into the fabric.
She rolled her eyes, hiding her cheeks behind her collar as Danny grinned at her.
Perhaps she should still keep an eye on him, because the next second she felt a grip on her back and under her knees before she was lifted up.
- Danny Fenton, - she hissed. Her arms wrapped around his neck to steady herself, - Danny was sure that only her love for him was saving him from suffocation, - and there was a strained smile on her face. - If you don't explain why you took me in the princess's arms in public, then you'll regret even thinking about it.
- You shouldn't strain your leg, - he said with confidence and with his worried look, it softened Sam. - Oh, and… will it heal faster?
“Damn obsession…” - Sam still wasn't used to Danny's increased attention. If he wasn't only half a ghost, she's sure his concern would have drowned her.
- Just this once, - she pointed at him with her finger. - I can handle it on my own.
