“My loneliness strikes at the most unusual times, like when I’m in bed and the clock hits midnight, when I watch a movie and I realise I’m all on my own. When I walk into parties with no ones hand to hold, when all my friends take photos with their partners and I’m usually the photographer, when I’m feeling sick and cold i realise I have no one to hold. When I go on a trip and the person seated next to me on the plane is a complete stranger, when I’m walking home at night no one to help me fight the danger. When your loved ones are all getting married and having children, when you fear your mothers death will come before you get married and start a family. These are the times that I realise I am lonely, that I am alone, that I have no one to call my own. “
