Please describe to us your best friends at SXU and what is your favorite memory with each of them? We are intrigued with who lives in this "Katieland" with you?
Ooh! This will be fun to answer!
Well, I have ensnared four main people in Katieland.
The first person is my roommate, Lyndsayford. Lyndsay is our leader and shepherd.
She is super organized and is scary sometimes. Her hair is tiny and looks pokey when in a ponytail. She is also my part-time relationship specialist.
My favorite memory with Lyndsay is definitely the occasion I got us locked out of our room. We were both going to the school football game, so she told me she wasn’t going to bring her room key because I would be bringing mine. After the game Lyndsay and I were going to meet up with my boyfriend (Joecifer) for dinner. Without thinking, I gave my phone to him so he could tell us when he had finished with band. I completely forgot…

The second person trapped in Katieland is Shayford.
Shayford is the first of my two nurses. She likes eating healthily and not eating healthily. Shay’s addiction is recycling; she always tells us that we have to recycle so that when she has children, they do not have to grow up in piles of plastic.
My favorite memory with Shay would be the occasion that I converted her to the art of Balsamic Vinegar. Last weekend, everyone except Shay and I went home for the weekend. We did laundry, watched Princess Diaries 2, cooked dinner, and ate ice cream. For dinner, we made pasta with garlic toast. I made Shay try putting Balsamic Vinegar on her pasta and she said it was sort of okay!
Next on the list is the wise and powerful Lenaford.
Lena is Shay’s friend from high school and is also the second of my nurses. She is also my second relationship specialist. Every topic that Lyndsay does not specialize in is Lena’s forte. I call Lenaford for advice a lot since she won’t live with us in the nest until next time.
My favorite memory with Lenaford would be the occasion that we were doing homework, listening to music, and napping in the nest! Her music was epic and we got to listen to the Mowgli’s so it was intense. Lena also practiced her speech about the No-Poo (No Shampoo) way of washing hair and it was really fun to listen to and critique! Then we napped, which of course is the best way to end everything.
The final person who I trapped in Katieland is my neighbor and boyfriend, Joecifer. Joe plays video games and piano very well.
He is also so nice to me and randomly buys me chocolate.
Joe used to complain about his hair a lot, but he got a haircut so he is all better now. He likes wintertime the best so he doesn’t wear coats when we go on walks. I’m predicting he’ll get sick at least ten times this winter.
My favorite memory with Joecifer would be one of the weekends we went on a walk. The weather was perfect and we got chocolate milk and ice cream! There were a lot of sirens for a while, though. Once the sirens went away, however, we got to watch the sunset and the scenery was just absolutely beautiful.
I’m very happy that I was able to trap so many people in Katieland! ..and I found all of these people at SXU! I’m so happy they’re all so nice and take care of me so well!
