That last part was… pretty worrying, he had to admit… He was planning on returning home anyway, but… for now, he’d have to stay here. He sighs and sits on the bed, trying to figure out his next move.

silence creeped across the hotel, until In the halls some type of song was heard. “Do you know who i am? They call me Judgement boy~!” a voice sang out as it got closer, still singing as it did. As the voice got closer, so did a pink and a yellow light glide across the ground, the lights becoming visible momentarily from under the door.

Ryou glanced at the door with a padlock on it for a moment, wondering what kind of room that was meant to be… he then walked into the room he had been led to, and looked around.

The room had the common commodities, such as a wardrobe that was empty, a desk with a chair, and a bed. The Window seemed to be nailed shut but in between the small gap, a cool breeze flowed through.

“Now there are a few rules to attend to... do not under any circumstances go peeking into the other rooms, and don’t open the window. One of the guests here happens to hate the cold.” Gregory said as he closes the door, then chuckled “after all i hope you Enjoy your stay............forever” he muttered out that last word rather ominously as he walked down the hall back to his desk.

…the scream definitely caught Ryou’s attention. The young duelist blinked, trying to find the source of the screaming… then he jumped when he saw Gregory, covered in blood with an axe in the back of his head. How in the world did he survive that?!

Ryou reluctantly stood up, and began to follow Gregory into the darkness, hoping his eyes would soon adjust to the dim environment.

Gregory had gotten himself cleaned up pretty quickly when he reached the room next to a room with a padlock on it, he looked to Ryou with a smile.

“here is your room i hope you find everything to your liking” he mused, gestering to the door with a smile, the door itself was made of wood that was painted green and on the door read the numbers ‘103′ on it.

“Wait, uh…” Ryou blinked when Gregory walked away, and he sighed, sitting down. Well… a place to stay would be a good thing. He’s pretty lost, and staying here would be safer than out there… He looked around, humming quietly to himself as he waited.

a yell resonated and something.. or rather... someone hits the ground with a thud, a eerie silence fills the hotel. And suddenly Gregory is back covered in some blood and had a small axe in the back of his head, it seemed that despite being old he is tough.

“those stairs get me every time" Gregory Huffed before he walked over to where he was before he entered the darkness. “come now i’ll show you to your room” he chuckled as he heads off into the darkness.

Ryou let out a yelp once he felt a clawed hand on his shoulder, and he turned to face the old rat, letting out another squeak. “Ah– um…” He stammered, trying to figure out what to say.

“ah i am so sorry... i probably shouldn’t scare people like that.” Gregory mused with a chuckle, he soon goes to get the keys while holding a small lit candle in one hand. Then he looked back at Ryou “it has been a while since we've had any new Guests after all... i’ll go and prepare your room, you settle in and make yourself... comfortable” he chuckled as he heads off into the darkness.

“Would you Like a room?” he would ask after placing a old clawed hand on the boy’s shoulder.
