Sometimes Iâm Martha in the kitchen. Iâm frustrated & bitter. Iâm angry. Iâm comparing. Iâm focused on details, wondering why Jesus & others are not. But I need to always be Mary. I must always be sitting at Jesusâs feet. Listening. Listening. Listening. The details are not my job. Preparation is not the point. Jesus is always in my home. So I must always be sitting with Him, ready to hear every word.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Just give me a guy who will go play scrabble with me at coffee shops on a Sunday and make me laugh until my stomach hurts. A man who will look at me like Iâm the prettiest, most golden thing. Someone who will point my heart back to Christ for everything and will make me feel safe and easy. A man who loves long drives and good tunes and cuddling. A guy who just is deep, genuine and intelligent, but also knows the ways to my heart is via flowers and sweet, hand-written words. Someone who just really understands my need for wanderlust and beauty of all sorts. Someone who will take me on picnics in the most spontaneous and cute spots and go stargazing with me at 3am just because I canât sleep. But most of all, give me a man who wants Jesus in the most wholehearted way, and my heart will soar.
The dream.
I declare breakthroughs are coming in my life, sudden bursts of Godâs goodness. Not a trickle. Not a stream. But a flood of Godâs power. A flood of healing. A flood of wisdom. A flood of favour. I am a breakthrough person and I choose to live breakthrough minded. I am expecting God to overwhelm me with His goodness and amaze me with His favour. This is my declaration.

Jesus even saw a dead guy in a tomb and said, âI can work with that.âWhat youâre going through is even more reason that God has called you into His Kingdom to do some of that Kingdom Work. Your struggle is part of the story, and no one wants a perfect storyteller. They want the dirt, the grit, the hurt â and the moment you trusted Him.

I pray for those who are struggling to find their purpose in life. Donât stop praying, donât stop trusting in Him, donât give up no matter how many times you fail. Venture out, do things you wouldnât usually do. Face your fears. God doesnât place things in your life for no reason. Things might not work out, but thereâs always a lesson following it. 1Corinthians 16:14 â Let all that you do be done in love.
