Sognefjorden is a vast area of high mountains and deep sea. The surrounding mountains are up to several km high and the fjord is more than 1200 meters deep. The weather has been very nice so far but I hear it can be a bit rough sometimes. Now heading deeper into the fjord, about 23 NM to Vadheim. The beautiful Bergen, Norway. A bit rainy though... There is a lot to see between the rainshowers. Luckily the distances are short and a lot of restaurants are open and dry. The luxury cruisers are in the distance and the classip ships are usually parked just beside the guest harbour. Farsund in southwest Norway is a beautiful small city with white housed scattered along the hills. The harbour offers an excellent view with full set of services. A minor rip in the mainsail forced us to sail with the first reef. It feels good to know that the boat isn't anymore limping. A perfect sail repair service from @seilservice.no . Location unlocked! @Norway after a 80+NM sail from Hirtshals to Kristiansand in 3m+ waves and 2-12 m/s winds. The toll officers attacked us rigjt away in the harbour due to suspection of alcohol trafficking. I had only the regular 8 cases of long drink so nothing out of ordinary there. A beautiful and quiet harbour/fisherman town southwest of Skagen. Beautiful scenery and sandy beaches on the Atlantic shore. It was only 39NM today but we have a minor damage in our mainsail.
