“i can start seducing you regularly, just until you get used to the sensation.” it’s been a good while since elektra has found herself in a position where seduction was necessary, but it was one of those skills she would never be able to shake. “i'm discerning, not discriminatory. i simply find it is indelicate to flirt with someone when your heart lies elsewhere.”

“Are you going to start treating me like Matt and Foggy?” Karen aimed another question right back at her with a slightly raised eyebrow.  “I go where I’m needed much like most people here, even you too I’d bet.”

“I don’t think that’s possible.” In college, Foggy was her boyfriend’s best friend who didn’t trust her and nothing much had changed. Matthew, on the other hand...well, he could only be persuaded about certain things, and fighting crime was not one of them. Karen was still something of a wild card. They had never exactly talked. “Something like that. My students seem to like me enough, anyways.” Aside from joining SHQ and trying to use her abilities for good, for once, she had also opened a Dojo in Chicago. It was a more enjoyable day job than she had imagined.

“If it came to that, most of the civilians would be smart to relocate, simply allow those most powerful to take control of their city...but I take it you would stick around in the event that Chicago becomes the newest hot spot for criminal activity?”

    “A city full of heroes– the irony lies with the fact this city is only beat by gotham in crime.” Karen chuckled pondering over news headlines in a coffee shop.  Papers scattered across her booth and a cup of coffee that never got below half sitting next to her.

Elektra sat her own coffee down on the surface before sliding into the booth across from Karen. She had planned to take it to go, but how often did she see a...friendly face around? “Where there’s heroes, there’s villains. It’s not so different from New York, is it?”
