You know how some songs have colours? I have synesthesia and songsjust have colours for me. not all songs and it’s not the first thing I notice about a song but if you ask me I can tell you what colours said song is. For example ‘follow you’ by bring me the horizon is light pink and boyfriend by justin bieber is purple and heart shaped boy by nirvana is mustard yellow. 

I told that a friend today and she asked me what colours different songs had. and then she asked me if I knew a dark blue song. I’ve never heard a dark blue song. I heard light blues and electric blue ones but never dark blue. And it won’t get out of my head.

The rain had stained me there was a startling lack of green It was all dark windows with a slight touch of oregano, the kind of purple that’s never in a Crayola box I love the warm tune of red-orange

His voice of red and black still haunts my purple memories of him She spoke bright words in hopes of masking her deep plum essence My body wandered the forest floor, but my mind was in the treetops I lost myself in a song like the sky

this sound makes me high like nothing above Something about him was so pale blue and yet deep gray, like he was depressed and yet a little ray of sunshine would make him feel better for a while. I still see the dark blue when I think of her His voice is red, gray, dusky purple; his hands are a seashore.
