❤ ┊❝ Why’re you sittin’ all alone. sweetheart? ❞ Her approach to the woman residing in one of the booths is casual, though she’s been noticing the other’s presence around the club for a little bit now. She was rather beautiful, and Somin took appreciative notice since she had an embedded adoration for cute girls, presently deciding to swoop in and maybe get to know the other some. It was during her shift, but hell, Somin had the owner wrapped around her pinky finger and a few incidents of socializing with customers wasn’t going to strike him as odd.

❝ I’m Somin. Professional party girl. I’d like to dance with you, ❞ she states clearly, her glossy pink lips inching into a little toothy grin. She’s decorated in true club kid fashion, with fishnets and a pair of worn down heels to tie the entire ensemble together. ❝ It’ll be fun, I promise. Tonight’s such a great night! The moon is high in the sky, and this song is calling your name! ❞

{ ✿ } : Another night, another club. Selyn had found herself going out more often than usual, almost every night for the past two weeks now. She sat alone at a booth at a club, scanning over the people who were out enjoying themselves, their drinks, and the company of their peers. It put a salty taste in her mouth. What she wouldn’t give to be able to be as laid back as these people, having no real problems to worry about. She was about to get up and head home when another person suddenly sat herself by her, Selyn’s eyes widening slightly at the sudden company.

“I-- uh--” Before she could answer the other girl’s first question, she was cut off by her introduction. Who was this girl and why was she so... intense? Her presence was very strong, but not in a bad way. The way she spoke sounded like something out of a children’s storybook. The kind where the main character was dressed like a hooker, that is. Selyn stayed silent for a moment before she finally responded to the other. “I’ll dance with you if you don’t mind getting me another drink, first.”

{  ✖ ; “ temper, temper… you obviously wasn’t going to win that battle. all i did was do my job as a ‘ good samaritan ’ and assist you. why is that so hard for you to accept help ? ” jacob stated, shaking his head towards how the other was acting. then again, he was almost use to this kind of behavior as it wasn’t the first time he got in between something she did. “ really. i bet next time you’ll be wishing that i was there to get between since you don’t need help. especially from people like ‘ me ’. ”

{ ✿ } : she couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him, a hand coming up to straighten out her hair. “i told you, i could have handled it.” she released a heavy exhale through her nose, something between a huff and a sigh. “just shut up. i need a drink. since you wanna be so helpful, you can pay. let’s go.” she began walked in the direction of the nearest bar she knew of, not even bothering to spare a glance back at him to see if he was following her.

{  ✖ ; “ you do realize that if i didn’t step in that your sorry ass would’ve gotten killed? i think at least a ‘ thank you ’ would’ve sufficed, but i think that’s too hard for you at the moment, right? ” jacob said, as he looked at the female. the moment he decides to do something good ( or more like satisfying his own cravings ) someone always have to be a dick about it.  nevertheless, the slight smirk never left his face when he arrived. “ was that too rude, miss selyn ? ” he asked the female just to get under her skin a bit more.

{ ✿ } : selyn was admittedly way too prideful for her own good. asking people to assist her, no matter what the thing may be, was something that she hardly ever did, nor wanted. she had learned that if you want something done right, you’re better off doing it yourself. so when jacob had jumped in and ended an altercation between her and another female, she was quiet angry, and his words just infuriated her more. “i could have handled it myself, i don’t need help. especially from you. just-- stay out of it next time.”

MinShik had probably spaced out about thirty minutes ago, eyes unfocused as the male stared into the distance without paying much attention to anything around him. Not an uncommon thing for him, yet if you wished to take part in a party it wasn’t probably the best idea to simply detach oneself from everything. However the tall male couldn’t really help it, having found solace in being like this and somehow saving his own sanity in such a way. He didn’t think of himself as a tortured soul or a genius unknown to the world, but much more someone lost in the now. People around him seemed to move forward, do the ‘regular’ things of growing up and seem perfectly happy. Meanwhile here he was, not sure where he was heading and the original goal now seemed like a darkness he didn’t want to step into. All the while he didn’t have plan B or X, he simply was lost in a world that didn’t seem to have a spot for him.

Upon the females question the male blinked several times as if coming back to the current surroundings, somehow all too aware of the loud music and masses of people. His eyes for a moment displayed terror and discomfort until he managed a pretty blank expression, turning towards the female with a small polite yet fake smile. “I think I should take my leave. It has been nice. Goodbye.” Not even reacting to her question his mind decided that it was enough, he needed air and leave this noise polluted area. All too quickly he rushed to stand up and hopefully make his way through the crowds before him - all too quickly he remembered why he hated clubs. The endless masses of drunk people moving towards music with just one single beat redone and replayed until ones ears fell off. MinShik wanted out.

It wasn’t often that Selyn found herself out at a party on her own. She generally went out with a group of friends, but this particular night she felt as if she needed to get out of the house, and all of her usual companions were busy with other things. She had remembered a party invitation at a club given to her by one of her clients and she decided to take him up on the offer, but when she had managed to make it to the party, he had left already. So she was left to entertain herself, the free booze being the only thing keeping her from just going home and calling it a night.

She stood leaning against a wall, watching drunken adults run around. Girls clinging onto men, men grinding against women, a few people very obviously taking drugs that shouldn’t be mixed with alcohol. In midst of all the commotion, she happened to notice a man sitting alone, staring off into space. At first she assumed that he, too, had been under the influence, but that didn’t seem right. After observing him a bit longer, she got curious as to why he was staying so still. So... not there. She approached him and spoke in a soft manner, in case she startled him. His seemingly sarcastic smile and response threw her off, and she reached out to grab his arm when he stood up, part of her worried he’d fall over. “Hey-- Are you sure you’re okay, dude?”

because sometimes my character does things that I absolutely cringe at and which are almost painful to write.

but my writing a villain does not make me a villain

understand that it is fiction and I do not condone the wrong actions that sometimes are written out on my blog for in-character purposes.
