"Hey!" Loki taps Mau's shoulder, calmly taking a bite of a candy bar. "So, has anyone ever told you your life is like a sitcom? Because... It is."
The soldier blinked in response, turning to glance at his unexpected visitor. An eyebrow rose at the words and Mau’s head tilted slightly.
"What is that supposed to mean, exactly? And how would you know anything of my life, stranger?”
Brows furrowed and lips pursed, tension running along the line of the soldier’s jaw as he watched the other male with an expression equal parts curious and slightly wary. Now that Mau was focusing, he could feel that there was something…different about the stranger. Perhaps he wasn’t just eccentric.
"I’m afraid I don’t….and what about my love life? It’s not really of much concern to you, is it? And there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s fine."
"Well, I happen to know that you don't have a very good one that's worth speaking of, so, there's that." He replied easily, finishing the candy bar. He paused to snack, cat eye squinted at Mau thoughtfully.
"Fine? Man, you're either lying right in my face or just daft, 'cause I don't think so!" He sang the last words, hands going to his own hips. "Oh, I guess I should tell you my name, huh? Yeah, that might make things easier. Stranger's an awful mouthful. I'm Loki! And I'm here to inform you that'd you've got such a bad love life it's like watching cringe worthy movies where you wanna yell at the characters."
