Alive but at what cost.

JK, I’m just cold and my body hurts just because of that. Actually, my life got a much better track than ever. And. Well. PHEW! That was a friggin rollercoaster too many things happened - fortunately for the better outcome. Sad thing is, I lost my strenght for drawing (I mean... it showed earlier). I tried to do things on my facebook page and IG but well, I didn’t do as I expected. Now that I’m getting used to the good, and my vacation is coming soon, I’m also trying to rearrange out my own routines. Hope this will get me somewhere.

Long time no see.

Good news: I got a full time job and it’s already something I like and can do, since it’s graphics

Bad news: very little time for drawing anything more than a sketchbook page

but at least I have time for that. and while I’ll try working on new stickers anyway, I’ll be posting my sketches not to leave my blog dead again

I got seriously mad watching videos of mangakas doodling their linearts straight without any sketch done previously, because I was very sure that there’s no way I would be able to do it now, that I’m not skilled as much as I wish to be so I did a thing myself. Just to prove myself, I can.

That was a nice exercise by the way.

A friend pointed me out that Finn’s skin colour ended up too light and now he looks whitewashed. I should admit, I tried not to. But because of used materials (inks with water, which, like watercolours, always dry out lighter) and old (apparenly not as good as I thought) habits - unfortunately I failed. I’m sorry for that; next time I’’ll try better and I’ll focus on fixing the habits.
