it's crazy that all these characters are always excusing each other and never understanding the gravity of their situations or what is appropriate to do in severe ones. it is truly written by someone who is like, i don't know how to even describe it, does understand the severity of situations and also thinks that every type of bigotry or oppression is shallow and personal? that there is seemingly nothing systematic or if there is then everyone gives you a capitalism 101 lesson about it, and describe it in leftist terms on how they're exploiting workers?
