It was like the time she would go up to her room to get something only to completely forget about it once she reached the doorknob, leaving her standing outside of her room with an annoyed expression because no matter how hard she tried to remember, she couldn’t. But this time though it felt like something more serious.

Liam turned to look behind him when the person sat next to him grabbed her belongings and stuffed it inside her bag before walking towards another empty seat. Far from him. His eyes stared at Mason with a questioning and disappointed look, silently asking him if she really did just leave him on their shared desk, alone. Mason responded with “Maybe she forgot something.” as a reassurance to his best friend, but they were both fully aware that that did nothing to reassure Liam, in fact, it only made him feel worse on the inside.

Pepper, having had a similar experience before, understands the screaming for you wanting Peter to leave and you being silent and just being with Harley. But Tony is the one who feels all of the same bone-crushing guilt because he knows what it’s like to be a hero. He knows the consequences and one of them is PTSD which sometimes means nightmares so real things go wrong in a sleep-state.

Dear writers/authors...
Whether you write a story consistently or not, it's OK.
Whether you write a story or two in a week, it's OK.
Whether you write a story and lose the inspiration behind it and decide to leave it as it is, it's OK.
Being a writer doesn't always mean you have to write a dozen times a day. You lose inspiration? Just wait until it comes back, no need to force yourself into writing something because it's how people see you.
Deciding to take a break in writing to gather inspiration and ideas doesn't make you any less of a writer.
Deciding to fend for yourself first before continuing your stories doesn't make you any less of a writer.
Deciding to stop writing a particular story because the spark you once had with it disappeared, doesn't make you any less of a writer.
Always remember that as a writer, you should always have yourself at the top of your priority list. Who cares what others say about you when you take a little break? They're only able to see the [undoubtedly beautiful] stories projected to them without knowing what inspired the story behind it; it's their problem if they can't accept the fact that sometimes it takes time to create a masterpiece.
Always remember that perfection takes time.
To the wonderful writers out there who are feeling pressured to write, update, and post a story in a daily, never feel the need to be pressured, because you deserve to enjoy the process of your written stories as much as a reader enjoys reading the wonderful piece you've created.
