Lent Day 30 Doubt: The Shrewdest Enemy

Did God really say...?

Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Romans 6:16 NLT

Choose eternity. The possibilities are endless.

To whom was God speaking?

Then the Lord God said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? Then they will live forever!”> Genesis 3:22 NLT

The Others.

So the possibility exists to be eternal yet know both good and evil without sinning?

The free gift of God is eternal life. Why would knowledge of sin be any part of that?

So I wake to solve a mystery and am led to believe relationships with God may work along similar lines. While we have some of the clues, He holds them all unfailingly, unflinchingly, tenderly, and with great intentions. Trust. Rest. Repeat.
