Oh… it was going to be an interesting night, and frankly, she couldn’t wait for five thirty to hit.

“Sure.” Tony nodded and smiled at Briar, feeling that it would be an interesting evening. The only thing he didn’t know yet was what would make it interesting and, knowing Briar, he thought that it would be wise not to take any guesses.

His offer had an idea instantly flicking into her head, though it didn’t show much on her face outside of a small, barely perceptive ticking of one brow. “Sounds good. I’ll text you after work and send you the address. Trust me, Tony… the cognac I have at my place is not the sort of alcohol you chug. It’s for sipping. It’s class, just like you.” Lifting a hand she patted one of his shoulders with a grin. “We’re gunna sit, sip and watch Charlie sock a crazy chick in big screen high def. It’s totally your scene.”

Tony smiled when she described the cognac as the alcohol for sipping; it was a good sign and maybe all his worries were unfounded. “Ok, I’m convinced,” he joked, shaking his head in amusement. “All thanks to that video, of course! Oh damn, that was good...” He chuckled, feeling kind of bad for not trusting Briar at first. “So... see you later, hm?”

Sol had played a couple of pranks on Tony in the past, all lighthearted fun, but she never truly intended any harm or ill-will with them. In some weird way, it was her way of getting to know Tony a bit without actually approaching the male directly. She liked to see which pranks upset him more versus which ones he might’ve let a small smile slip, and it was the pranks that left him smiling a little that she mentally noted to do again. Of course, Sol hadn’t thought about pranks in a while with everything going on in her life. Her eyes followed to where his finger pointed, giggling a bit at his comment, softly smiling at him. She enjoyed his rambles because she rambled too but when Tony rambled; however, it sounded cute. For Sol, that had always been the case with Tony. Even while she was with her (now ex) boyfriend, she often caught herself admiring how endearing Tony truly was, and she had to wonder if the male even knew the charm he carried. Listening to him speak about his father, her eyes scanned his face for all of his emotions, “ Does your dad live around Scranton?” She curiously inquired, smiling up at him, “I’m very happy to hear it wasn’t anything too serious. My father was the same way. He just loved his job so much; it sometimes seemed like he was married to it more than my mom.” She laughed a bit, “You know, maybe we should get together and try to book your dad a vacation. Force him to take a little break.”

Tony couldn’t stop thinking how incredibly sweet she was. Many people had told him he should loosen up a bit and just enjoy some funny moments, but only Sol – though he could be a bit biased – could actually make him do it. If he wasn’t so shy and insecure, he would have told her how she had made coming to this office even more enjoyable, or that she was the most beautiful ray of sunshine he had ever seen... But there he was, knowing that his anxiety would never let such words leave his lips, so all he could do was be as nice to her as he only could and try not to make a fool of himself. “No, unfortunately, he doesn’t. He travels a lot and he was visiting me,” he explained with a smile. Tony nodded when she told him about his father. It sounded like he and Andrei would have a lot in common and it only made his smile widen. “Exactly, my mom used to tell him that a lot,” he chuckled. “Oh my god, you’re right! It’s such a great idea! If you helped me a little, together we could find some perfect place for his vacation. Lots of sightseeing would trick him into thinking he’s not just lazing around and stuff."

He left the documents on the desk and grabbed his empty mug to get some coffee while he was there, then hurried to the breakroom. “Are you ok after... you know?” This time he was genuinely concerned, not just looking for something exciting to talk about. He even was worried about Aiden, but it took Skyler’s ‘stop talking about being professional and take a better look at that podcast zoo’ to convince Tony that he should drop the subject and pretend nothing happened.
