“ the thrill, huh? ”
As he saw her move her own mask, he did the same with his, smirking at her.
“ I bet Cayde he could get Zavala drunk. Been watching the poor guy try to spike his drink with vodka all night. Now that— that—is a thrill. Life or death, right there. ”
“You know, I might just have to stick around to see how this bet of yours plays out.”
She turned towards where the two Vanguard members were, watching them as they went on with their business. Cayde was trying too hard, he’d never be able to do it.
“Well then wallflower it’s settled. You’ve just gained yourself a new wall-mate.”

“Obviously. Or you could move over. I don’t mind sharing.”

“Yes, ma’am.”
The dala had a point. Reaching out, Artus snatched up his helmet and forced himself to his feet. Jamming it onto his head, he quietly cough, his chest aching from where his heart was just jump started again. Moving ahead of her, he crept through the dark passageway, careful not to be caught again by the Sith that was moving deeper into the Temple.
Though there was nothing within their current radius, Harley knew better. If they didn’t move they’d be tracked own much easier. Even though she felt what he was probably going through before, this wasn’t the time for whining.
“Jareth, I need you to do a scan.”
Her ghost, a small floating ball of light appeared at her side, scanning the area for any current danger. While she let her ghost work, she paused looking over at the other.
“So what’s your name?”
Once the body restarts, the mind has to catch up. She might as well try to help him along if she could.
Terrible Choices
"I can't believe you just did that."
"You're going to do WHAT?!"
"Let me count the ways that this is a bad idea..."
"Please tell me you're joking."
"You are going to have a LOT of explaining to do over this one."
"You can make all the excuses all you want, but you really fucked up this time."
"So... I did something that might have been a terrible idea..."
"Do you think we could just forget last night?"
"I'm not sure what happened, but I have a feeling I know who was behind it."
"You know that little voice inside your head that tells you not to do the thing? Listen to it next time."
"You're not a teenager anymore. Stop acting like it."
"What's the worst that could happen from all this?"
"Do not talk to me again."
"It really wasn't THAT bad a decision, was it?"
"Yeah. Okay. I screwed up. Now what do I do about it?"
"Don't try to pin this all on me. WE did this. You were involved."
"You don't have that little voice that tells you when something's a bad idea, do you?"
[text] What happened? Everything's a blur.
"Please, please tell me what I did wrong."
"That was just a giant clusterfuck, wasn't it?"

“And you’re alive now. Get over it. We need to keep moving.”
theawokenqueen:
Mara’s eyes looked over the Guardian in front of her for a long few moments, taking her in. The lack of a voice of her own was…. interesting, but not a problem. The little ball could speak for her as it was. So long as she understood what she needed her to do, and could get it done, anything else mattered little to the Queen.
“I am sure you have heard of a Guardian that was recently denounced by the Vanguard and removed from the Tower.” Unsurprisingly, another Warlock. Their interest in the Hive had apparently grown worrisome for the Vanguard, and they were kicked from the Tower. Unsurprisingly, they were irritated. “This Warlock has been causing my scouts trouble; they have injured several of my people, and killed two. I do not tolerate such behaviour.” She leaned forward ever so slightly to emphasize her words. “I need this Warlock either dead, or at my feet.”
She listened with practiced ease. If there was anything Anthea was great at, it was listening. It seemed a bit of a perk thinking on it, lose her voice but almost able to hear worlds groan. If the Vanguard had denounced this guardian then they were no longer worthy of the title, no longer worthy to wield the light given to them from the traveler. Anthea would feel no pity for this enemy. She knew what she needed to do. She glanced from the Queen to Ven and nodded.
[My Guardian understands her objective. Though she has one question. Would you require a limb as proof of their death, or would you like their corpse?]

“The first— You have some anger issues I need to worry about, kid?”
“None at all. Anger doesn’t fuel me.”
smokesaturated:
“—You always have conversations with things you shoot at?”
“Not always. But I do find one sided conversations amusing, seeing how a vast majority of the time things I shoot at are dead on the first shot.”
She is so stubborn, her heart has an argument with her head every time it wants to beat.
