Forgot I never posted this here, a comm from a couple months back of a client's full moon Lunar for an exalted game!

I've gotten a couple asks about my commission prices (thank you very kindly for the interest), so while I won't be taking new comms until I've finished some longer-term projects, I DO intend to open comms in the future, so I threw together some rough sheets about comm types I plan to offer and pricing so interested folks can keep an eye out. Been chipping away at this in my free time - sort of a redo of a comm I did a while back. I haven't been satisfied with most of my art for almost two years straight and never felt I quite did the character design justice, so I wanted to redraw her to test out style stuff and also as a sort of thank-you to the commissioner, because another comm I did for them has been really helpful for rebuilding a following after ditching twitter. I think I'm pretty happy with the result, plus I actually enjoyed the process too which I've also been struggling with ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I haven't heard back from the previous client the character belongs to, but I hope they see it someday and it's maybe a fun little surprise for them :')

Last exalted session Emerald and Percy's adoptive son tried to kill Percy but Emerald took the blow instead and almost died and now everyone's upset. Happy belated valentines day :-)

You seem to be enjoying Exhalted a lot! I'm looking to maybe try it at some point, what edition do you play/recommend? Any tips for somebody new to the setting or system?

HI HOWDY I have indeed been!!!!! The campaign I'm in is 3rd edition and it's been a really solid system, so that's the one I'd recommend! Exalted IS very different from something like dnd; it's a d10 system as opposed to d20, and you're gonna be rolling a LOTTTTT of dice most of the time, so what my group does (and what I'd recommend) is use a dice roller bot in discord for rolls. We also use a website called lot-casting atemi for our character sheets, combat, basically everything else LMAO cause it keeps everything organized really well! ALSO get ready for any combat that happens to take EONS to finish lol.

I don't have experience running it but I'd recommend reading the core books some, at least to get the gist of broad setting info and mechanics!!! Ultimately just like any system you can make whatever kind of setting you want, BUT the exalted one is VERY fleshed out while still being broad enough for you to make up your own original stuff to include if you want. You don't need to read EVERYTHING (I sure as hell haven't lmao) but definitely look over stuff that interests you or might be relevant to a character idea you have!!! Looking over what goes into a character sheet would be a good baseline for what to familiarize yourself with, especially if you're gonna be running!

My useless additional advice is find someone who's familiar with the system and setting and have them regurgitate important info to you so you get the broad idea of what's going on LMAO
