2D jumped as he was snapped out of his focus, tossing the cube up into the air. As it came down, it bonked him on the head before falling onto the floor, smashing into pieces. “Oh…s-sorry.” He dropped to the floor and started picking up the pieces.
Dammit. Way to make a good first impression.
“Um. Y-yeah. That’s me. Stuart Pot.” He said, glancing up at the stranger. “But you can just call me 2D.”
Freddy’s was certainly not his first choice of employment, but he had been desperate to find a job after the band had broken up. Sure, he had never worked with animatronics before, but he had often helped his dad repair the rides at the fair, and he could build completely functional instruments. Working with animatronics and arcade games couldn’t be too much different, right?
Standing up, he tossed the remains of his poor rubik’s cube into a nearby trashcan. “Y’know, I’ve never been able t’ finish a rubik’s cube. I always get stuck with two left. But I guess I won’t be finishin’ that one at all, heh.”
She unintentionally flinched as the cube launched into the air, the proceeded to shatter all over the floor. She bit her lip as she dropped to help him, setting her clipboard aside. She really hadn’t meant to startle the poor bloke, but here they both were, picking up what remained of his Rubik’s cube off the multi-coloured pizza and stained Berber carpet. A small laugh came from her. “Honestly, Neither have I. Those last 2 are always the worst!” She tossed the pieces in the garbage bin right after he tossed his. She picked up the clipboard again and looked over the information. “Okay so.. I’m Kaycee, I’ve been the technician here since... Forever ago now..” She pauses a moment. She really can’t remember the exact day she started now.. “Uh,,, Anyway...” A sigh, one that literally tells him she’s not thrilled about the next bit:
“So uh, Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. So basically... You’re on your own if you get injured.” A hollow laugh. “Please try not to get injured..” She motioned for him to follow. “It’s pretty tame during the day, keep an eye on the kids, don’t let them get onstage.. All that fun stuff. Games are self-explanatory if you’ve ever worked with them before..” She stopped at a door labeled “Parts and Services”. A grin on her lips. “And this is where we live here..” Once inside she flicked the lights on to reveal a neatly organized room with a couple of spare parts scattered across the workbench. She quickly swept them to a side. “Welcome to the Fazbear Family..” she said in a muted tone, tossing some paper confetti into the air in his direction. “You;re one of us now...”
