Hiro’s definitifely insecure and I feel like the only reason he’s snarky on top of it is because of Tadashi.

He’s the only person where Hiro felt comfortable enough to do that. You can tell he’s usually too uncomfortable around other people to do it.

I feel like a great example would be when Tadashi asks if Hiro’s nervous at the showcase and he’s all like “pfft, I got this”, but then when the others jump in he’s all like; *laughs nervously*
