Tadashi moved through the halls reading the numbers on the supply closets he found. “1-a, 1-b, and 1-d? Where is 1-c?”
Tadashi followed with a mock serious face. “Lead on oh great super genius.” He called trying not to crack a smile but failing horribly. As he followed Hiro down the halls he tried to remember how many turns he had taken so he could find his way back again.
“Yeah we will see how lucky I am.” He laughed and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Ok then if you know where everything is already where is storage closet 2-A?” He asked with a look of challenge. Tadashi loved to challenge his little brother. Almost as much as when they worked together on something. They pushed each other and made each other better or at least he thought they did. Even though Hiro was the one in the clubhouse Tadashi couldn’t help feeling like he had failed somehow.
“I hope so and thanks coffee any where I can get it would be great.” He smiled. “Even if that does make me sound like and addict.”
Victor nodded and started walking in the direction of the staff room. “Yeah, don’t worry. I’ve become a bit of an addict working here myself. I think a lot of the staff here are coffee addicts. So you’ll fit right in,” He said, chuckling at the end.
Tadashi followed Victor toward the staff room. "I think I became an addict long before working here. Late nights working on inventions. Aunt Cass always knows I have been up late when she finds my coffee cup."
"I hope so and thanks coffee any where I can get it would be great." He smiled. "Even if that does make me sound like and addict."
“i can understand that. Say do you happen to know where I could get a cup of coffee? I still don’t know my way around this place to well yet.” He pulled out a picture of Hiro. “This is my brother by the way. He is only 15 but watch out. He is tricky. I really love him though and if I could just get him to use his big brain for something good life would be great.”
“You have a son? Wow thats wonderful that you get to have them here with you.” Tadashi scratched the back of his head sheepishly. “Yeah I am sure you guys have seen lots of big messes here its just that my brother is really smart, smarter than me really. He and I both graduated high school early so I am sure he could think of about a million ways to mess stuff up royally.”
“You have family here? i have my brother Hiro here as a patient but thats it. I apologize in advanced for him if he messes anything up.” He sighed. “Hopefully this place will help Hiro.” He smiled. “I am glad you like your job.”
Tadashi smiled at the praise. “Really I just hope to make things that help a lot of people. You study literature? Thats not mediocre at all and you should try to go back and finish especially if you love it.”
Tadashi shook Victor's hand. "It's good to meet someone else that works here." He smiled broadly when Victor asked about his inventions. "My degree is in robotics but I am studying a few other areas to. I am focusing mostly on making invention that help the health care industry. I hope to make a full fledged robotic nurse someday. Although I know it will never replace human nurses it could help make their life easier."
Tadashi wrote out the instructions Victor gave him for dealing with blood in his note book along with a few side notes about how maybe he could make an invention that would give out the already mixed bleach and water or something like that." He talked as he wrote. "Yeah if told her about all the blood today she would probably eat everything in her cafe out of stress. My name is Tadashi by the way."
Tadashi grinned upon seeing his brother. "Little bro!" He immediately looped an arm around Hiro's neck and proceeded to give him a nuggie. "It's good to see you!" He looked surprised a moment latter when He realized Hiro said he new where everything was. "You already know where everything is?" He shook his head and rolled his eyes. "Of course you do."
Tadashi smiled at the other guy. "No problem they tell me clean up is part of the job although there has to be a better way to do that." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small note book to jot down blood removal so he would remember to work on that later. "Aunt Cass doesn't mind me working here per say. I get to be here for my little brother and learn more about health care so I can work on my inventions. However, she might change here mind if she knew about the blood and the dangers here. Plus she would start worrying that Hiro wasn't safe here." He shook his head a little. "Not to mention she stress eats."
Tadashi had just finished cleaning up a huge mess in one of the patient rooms. “I didn’t know people could lose this much blood and still survive.” He commented as he leaned on the door frame. The patient in question had hurt themselves although no one had told Tadashi yet weather it was accidental or not. He was just told to clean the room while the patient was moved to the infirmary. “Deffinitly can’t tell Aunt Cass about this one.”
Tadashi wondered down one of the hall looking around curiously. "I really need to memorize the layout of this place." He turned when he heard someone behind him. "Oh hi did you need some help?" He asked.
