The update. A little less than I hoped but what can you do, it's just one part of something much bigger and opens the realm to future possibilities. I'm gonna show you the Lego version which doesn't actually exist as a minifigure since there are no sets. The closest thing we have is a Disney100 anniversary version without the suit.

I've shown that there's a samurai version of him and I've been anticipating the bag for it, well it's the Battlebot

Here's some exclusive loading screen arts front and center.

There's a glider that I believe is interchangeable with different characters as well as what they call a 'Microbot Mallet' which is essentially their pickaxe.

And I was right, they did make him a little bit taller to fit the mold of their other characters I suppose. Almost looks like he's wearing heels, nearly doubling the length of his legs.

There are some stickers too but I'll let you find those. I've been looking for easter eggs actually in the maps but nothing so far. There are flying fish turbines but I'm pretty sure those existed before BH6.

Here it is (almost, Dec 1) but here's a "preview" of what's over the horizon for the BH6 Fortnite update, first is a samurai version of Baymax.

I'm seeing some people say that he could be an NPC medic at this specific location but judging how he is the one to equip the blue thing, I almost doubt it. I'll cover more once it's actually out, hoping for some easter eggs and other props or items he could use.

Whether it's real, I couldn't tell you since there are leaks all the time and this image is blurry but certain parts of it are not so take it with a grain of salt but popular opinion suggests that Baymax will be in Fortnite.

I'm not sure if I'll play it since I have had such a streak of not playing it but I will for sure cover it if it gets added!

Also supposedly coming soon is a Speedstorm update which will include more than a few characters

I started playing the game just because of this and I know it's a grind to get new stuff with these types of games but the way I'm reading it tells me that 5 will be available off the bat and 2 will be introduced later. (Unless the 2 is apart of that 5?) That means we'll have 5 of the 6 characters to start. My guess is that everyone but Fred will be playable and then he'll get added mid-season. As for the extra pick, it's really nose-goes I've seen specials of certain characters get added like Steamboat Mickey so more than likely we'll see White fluffy Baymax and then a red armored one as well. Me personally (being me) wants to speculate that if not then it's Yokai and if not then Cass and if not then TADASHI!?!

Though there are versions on the internet that does not include that disclaimer on the image. Hmmm. Though I genuinely won't be surprised if Epic manages to secure the license permissions from Disney since everyone and everything can come to Fortnite at this point.

Now we're going into some comics and magazines. I won't include Marvel stuff because well, they just operate under those grounds, that's kind of obvious.

MAD Magazine Issue #7 2019. I try to keep this blog clean so I removed a suggestion in the speech bubble.

Zé Carioca ISSUE 2404. It's a Brazilian comic in Portuguese about none other than José Carioca (Zé being a nickname) who is commonly known from the Three Caballeros in America. There's a one-page comic inside the issue. I only have this because of @sugarloaf-mountain so THANK YOU! (I will also link a pic of the untranslated one here because I just threw it in Google Translate)

Disney Storied Places - There's about a one page comic which seems unfair since most properties got more. But it's about cleaning trash.

Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers. I saw this on its list of cameos but it's hard to tell and people probably wouldn't have thought of it but that's Yokai's cape being used just with the collar upturned.

Mercy saying Baymax's line in Overwatch. You could also say Zenyatta has the same 'hello' but this is a bit more obvious.

I've been compiling a list of appearances that Big Hero 6 has made in other media. So, here it is, a compilative list. I will update this post when I find more and reblog with the edits!

Ralph Breaks the Internet has a few references, the first being in a room chock full with Baymax sandwiched between Buzz and Tsum Tsums

He has his own booth earlier though which has a screen playing a scene with Honey Lemon by R2D2.

It was confirmed to be in Strange World by one of the creators and AMC claims it to be this right here though, it's a stretch in my opinion. Baymax's charger? How is anybody going to see that? In the actual movie, it's even more cropped, what's the point? It doesn't even look correct to me.

Bada-la-la-la-la in Miles Morales I like that hidden unknown or blink and you miss it stuff so no Kingdom Hearts or Disney apps, they're too on the nose.

The Bot Shop is finally open in Pacific Wharf and it's pretty accurate to the concept art but there's one thing in particular that bugs me-

You can see Callaghan's mask in the top one, sure, but what's the one next to it? I can't for the life of me remember seeing this and can't seem to find it online either (so if you know, I'll delete this rn) but until then-

It's awfully similar to Boba Fett's mask:

Green, red around the eyes, yellow lines on the top portion. It even resembles a little bit of the shape of a Mythosaur skull. I've had other theories but I'll wait and see if anybody can identify it first.

Is this a hot take? I'm not too sure but an interesting topic which someone brought up is what makes Big Hero 6 so special. Hiro doesn't automatically forgive Callaghan and he never got a "redemption arc", he appeared once in the series but it was never treated as such. I look at it this way, what's a worse fate, death or the knowledge that the very things that turned you evil are still out there but you can't do anything about them.

You're not really wrong, I guess it was to play off of for comedic effect as well as have a reason for her not being as relevant in the movie and at the time, he wasn't even a superhero so...movie length reasons.

I honestly have to disagree, I really liked Brooks' portrayal of Fred and thought he should return. I feel like Fred had moments in the movie but that was about it, we didn't know enough about him, he was meant to be a mystery because of his mansion and his dad.

They did that with the Baymax series (as you can tell, some of these are kind of old) but I kind of like the idea of Hiro taking a break from his microbots, as a way to kind of come to terms with what his creation caused.

I saw a pattern of people comparing it to Iron Giant and honestly it borrows some elements from that but it was apparent in the original comics as well, I mean little boy big robot can be dated way back but I do agree that the parental figure owning a restaurant is a little on the nose.

I'm going to try something. So I'm not going to knock anyone's opinions or anything but I see people coming up with some hot takes and really want to point some of those out in a post.

I'm going to look for some highlights, feel free to message me your own Big Hero 6 hot takes or unpopular opinions (can be with the series', movie, comic, anything!) and I'll probably add it in.

I've been holding back on covering the Pacific Wharf section of Disneyland as it's being renovated and such but I will comment on this new news.

All in all, I've been underwhelmed with how it looks because they never really make much from the franchise just in the "theming" of the franchise which I suppose is still a win that it's even getting attention at all but I digress. Perfect example right here, The Aunt Cass Cafe'

Looks cool but nothing like the Lucky Cat like we all know and love but I also understand this is concept art, it's not actually built yet. (Though August seems pretty close)

What I truly wanted to talk about was this-

The Hamada Bot Shop. It's a meet and greet but I really like this idea for the characters, where Hiro opens up a bot shop, keeping the garage like feel where he tinkers with scrap.

(let's just hope he isn't still making them for bot fighting)

But what I see cited in all the articles I've read is "This is where the Big Hero 6 team builds and innovates their hi-tech gear, so you may also see a few of their upcoming inventions." which probably means that they'll have shenanigans where they test a new experiment.

But THIS is Maker's Market right next to it and hey, look it's Good Luck Alley! But it's probably how you'd imagine, something similar to the Savi's Workshop where you build your own lightsabers (they've been doing a lot of that lately).

But those banners are most interesting. In order of left to right-

And of course, the most well known Megabot. (Also Saw Bot but he's beneath Worm where he belongs.)
