note: this takes place in the same universe as astroboy because reusing old ideas >>> coming up with new ones. also i continue to straddle the line of whether they are dating or whether they are just friends. Anyways I hope you enjoy this Soph!
Despite how late it was, you found yourself still holed up in your club room, an action that required plenty of asking and at one point a decent amount of begging to your school’s janitor. In the end he allowed it, and you sure part of the reason for this was because Taehyun’s reputation preceded him, an attribute of his you had benefited from many times before.
The table in front of you was covered in glitter, scraps of paper, and pens of about every color on this Earth. However, what was most important on the table was the poster that had been created. A poster to advertise the astronomy club.
Taehyun crept behind you peering at the poster. He tilted his head to side “the words look a little crooked” he pointed out before breaking out into a devilish smile.
You paused cutting the paper star you had been working on to take a look at the poster before smacking Taehyun’s arm “Don’t say things like that, now it’s in my head” you complained “and it is not crooked.” Still you couldn’t help but continue to scrutinize the poster.
Taehyun laughed “don’t worry their not crooked” he patted your shoulder before going to sit down “I was just messing with you.”
“Now, why was that necessary?”
Taehyun shrugged in response but his smile clued you into the reason. He turned his attention to the flyers you both had made earlier before you had started working on the poster “do you believe in this astrology stuff?”
It was your turn to shrug “I think it’s pretty interesting to read about.” Which was the reason the two of you decided to plan an event involving astrology and astronomy in an effort to promote the club. “And if your wondering” you added, eyes trained on the paper star you were cutting “I did take the liberty in finding out whether we were compatible or not”
You looked up, not expecting to hear the amount of anticipation that was present in his voice. You smiled, focusing once again on your paper star. “That is for me to know and for you to find out.” Taehyun frowned, seemingly annoyed. “What? If you want to know that badly it’s not like you can’t find that information yourself.”
Taehyun looked out the window, “Well astrology or not, I think you might be my soulmate”
Oh how quickly had he turned the tables back on you. “What— Why?”
“Well, that’s for me to know and for you to find out.”
“You’re being mean” you whined. You were sure he’d tell you eventually, he always did, but you wanted to know now.
Taehyun laughed in response, making his way over to you. He placed his arms gently on your shoulders leaning down so his head was level to yours “now let’s get you home, it’s late.”
