ANKAMA – Maximini

Maximini was a very creative transmedia experience, we worked with a small team on 3 special episodes for FRANCE 3 TV channel combinating each time a 8 minutes-cartoon with its dedicated game on Browser game, with a different style and gameplay! EPISODE 1 – Marwal et Crustacés:

• Two months of work on the experimental transmedia project of the company (including magazine article, interactive comics, video game, short animated film of 8’00”), mainly for backgrounds

EPISODE 2 – Incarnam:

• Chara-design and User interface on the Shoot’Em’Up game,

• Background direction on the short animated film of 8’00″

EPISODE 3 – Drago Tuning Festival:

• Chara-design and User interface on the Run platform game,

• First part’s story-board, additional chara-designs and background direction on the short animated film of 8’00″.

This is such a small detail, but I love how the Sadida warriors immediately formed a protective circle around a still grieving Amalia.

This cements them as deathly protective and loyal to her in spite of her "just" being their princess (keep in mind this happens right before Aurora leaves, meaning she was still technically their queen).

I just love seeing my girl be loved by her people. It's what she deserves.
