I get what your anon is saying but I think the most frustrating thing about non Muslim!Yousef was that it was clearly thrown in there as an obstacle for Sana. His reasons for not being Muslim weren't even about him but about Even and didn't even hold up later on in the story. I think it's why the whole thing about non Muslim!Yousef doesn't ring true for so many in the fandom because the reasoning for it made no sense and it was clearly included to cause a rift between him and Sana

AN ANNONCEMENT

hi y'all. i know i've disappeared for a while and i thought i may owe you qn apology.

my mental health has been on decline for years. i am currently going to therapy (have been for months) and it's nothing severe, or at least severe enough to take extreme actions. i thought that i could manage school, requests, family issues, exams for titles outside of school, and large list of etceteras. that pent-up stress has eventually led to physical health issues. i'm better now but i have come to a decision:

i will be no longer taking requests.

they burn me out and make me avoid writing. again, i am terribly sorry for all of you in my inbox, but i'm not sure if i'll end up completing those, or the matchups, or the event. i don't even know what will i do next.

thanks to my mutuals and to every one of you who interact or check out my content. people enjoying my writing or characterization make me very happy.
