actually, since it's super easy, i'll go ahead and make the how to make a divider tutorial now:
!. start with any size canvas. this is what i call a tile. i'll be using 190x190 for the example shown.
2. turn on the symmetry ruler. this will make your divider look neat once you repeat the tile.
3. draw! make sure to check that it looks good every now and again by zooming out on the drawing and hitting "repeat"
4. once you're satisfied, take note of the canvas dimensions, save and exit. multiply the first canvas dimension, aka the width, by the number of times you want the tile to repeat (i usually do 5 or 10). leave the second number, the height, the same. create a custom canvas using these.
5. open the image on the new canvas and hit repeat.
hi! do you have any halftone pngs ? more so ones that are in shapes rather than just being scattered across a screen ( for example in the shape of a star or a heart )
please feel free to deny ! thank you in advance. ^_^
hi!! i've decided to teach you a way to make some on your own since i found very few and i thought it'd be more helpful this way
1. get your awesome shape and blur it as much as you'd like, if you'd like
2. pop your image into here. you don't really need to fiddle with any of the settings aside from the halftone size
ɓoom !! if you'd rather have me make some for you instead, feel free to send in another ask.
a blog for editing resources, including overlays, cutouts, line stickers, psds, tutorials, etc. run by @/grimescum. how to request
please at least skim over everything under the cut. if you dont, i reserve the right to be a little bit of a bitch about it

( ! ) content – with the exclusion of graphics taken from picsart and occasionally pinterest, i only upload raw, unedited graphics to be used in edits.
– the same generally applies to images of characters; i don't upload cutouts of fanart unless the artist has given permission for their artwork to be reuploaded
– my crediting can be a little wonky at times, but i generally don't credit pictures sourced from large companies such as walmart.
– this blog has no queue, i post whenever i feel like it
( ! ) interaction – spam likes and reblogs are perfectly fine in moderation!! if you're going through an entire tag and liking/reblogging everything you see, i'll block you temporarily
– credit for my work is not necessary, but it is advised to credit the original creators for their work if provided.
– i block freely, mostly according to my main blog's dni. don't be stupid. this also includes r4dqueers and pr0ship.
( ! ) other asks – i read them all! kind comments are part of what keeps me going, so regardless of how quickly i respond to them, know i appreciate every single one deeply.
– you can also ask for a promo!
( ! ) requests – i take requests for finding pngs of or based on whatever you give me, be it a character, prompt, aesthetic, image, etc.
– i'm selective about what i choose to do, so please don't be upset if i decide not to. it's nothing against you personally.
blacklist, media i won't do or will be very picky about: d/smp or related, genshin impact or anything by hoyoverse, kp0p, harry p0tter, p0rn (because of guidelines)
whitelist, media i will do no matter what: any of the fandoms im into!
– i'll also try to find the source of any image you send to me if you can't or don't feel like doing it yourself.
– i have autism, so being as specific as you can helps a ton! there is a difference between edits "based on" and "of" a character to me. also, if you want a certain kind of graphic (ie. a drawn divider rather than an image cutout), please do clarify that
( ! ) tag directory – under construction! a new tagging system is coming soon. for now, please refer to my rentry.

do you know how people actually use those pinterest minimalist icon borders? i cannot figure out a way to do them that isnt tedious af (such as erasing the inside by hand in ibispaint) 💀
MMMM. i still dont quite know what you're talking about butttt thats probably just cuz dont use pinterest for dividers often.... ill still try to answer this!
SO. if they're black and white, you're supposed to open ibispaintx, go to the 3 dots near the bottom of the layer UI and hit "clear white (grayscale). if the background is black and the divider is white, hit the invert button first.
if they're not black and white, do the following:
1. copy the layer, set saturation to 0 and lower the contrast (optionally, if the image has a black background and the colors are too dark, invert the image) until the area you want stands out:
2. also optionally BUT if the image is pixelated after doing this, go to guassian blur and then back to brightness and contrast and fiddle with the settings until the edges are smooth. you might want to lower the opacity of this layer first so you can see how much is being covered by the mask.
3. clear white (as shown above), hit "select opacity", select the first layer and then hit "add special layer" (the box with a plus sign)
if all else fails, use a bg remover like remove.bg and then upscale it with waifu2x
