Modly note here!
I will probably be very slow until Sunday due to some school commitments.
In the mean time, though, would people like randomly assigned thread partners and prompts to kickstart things?

OPENING EVENT.
Two years ago, in a world apart, the demon world cheered as it gained a new King and a new set of morals. A new direction for the world to take - temporary, as in three years time there would come another tournament to decide who then would lead the masses.
At the same time, unnoticed by any of the forces hat be, the stars shone brighter. The skies were alight with the universe's celebration. Scientists stared in awe, children stayed up late, and Sailor Moon and all she loved returned home.
All the worlds returned to normal. The Sailor Senshi were granted two years to be normal, two years to live as though they had never faced world-ending danger -- the first years of peace they'd had since awakening. Sure, there was the occasional monster to fight, but that was nothing in comparison to the waves they'd become familiar with.
Likewise, Team Urameshi were finally granted a moment's peace -- time to train, time to reassimilate, time to remember what was important.
But elsewhere, things were not so easy. These are not the only stories to unfold -- elsewhere four young men fight to attain their dreams, fighting their way through a world of unknowns. A man courts a goddess. A girl captures the elements in cards. Ninjas wage war. Aliens wage war for dominance. And children battle against angel for the sake of a dark future.
It started with an unscheduled meteor shower. A meteor shower that rained across all the skies. While the humans gathered their families up and watched in awe, the demons, spirits, Gods and Goddesses watched with unease. Some ancient memory was beginning to surface... Something just out of reach.
It begins with the spikes of energy in Juuban District. For all of the demonic activity that the world was rife with, Juuban had always maintained radio silence. A perfectly safe city - some said, protected from external forces... But this energy -- neither human, nor demon, nor spirit -- drew the immediate concern of Spirit World. Worse than that, an unknown S ranked Demon bursts forth from the Demon world, hell bent on revenge against something within the city. At once, the former agents were contacted. A new threat to the Earth meant a break from the idyllic life they'd gotten used to -- at once the were told to infiltrate the city of Juuban and discover the source of the power.
The worlds begin to converge - suddenly, the gap between them is no longer insurmountable. The Hunters, though separated, find themselves drawn to the unknown. Adventure brings them far from home, slipping between the cracks into a world so far removed from their own.
They're not the only ones. Something is calling all forces of great power to this city. And there, everything will begin to change.
This is where our adventure begins.

KICKOFF EVENT:
So it begins! Below the cut is a modly note so we're all on the same page.
Apologizing for the slowness of this! I’ve been pretty sick and that’s made stringing more than two words together really hard.
I have the rough draft of the opening plot/event about ready to go. Ideally, I’ll polish it up and have it ready to go by later tonight and then people can reblog it and add in what their character is doing/what they’d like to do with them/etc.
But given that tumblr has once again proven that it doesn’t care much for functionality and ease of use, is there any interest in a skype text chat for brainstorming purposes?
