“………”
"Hey Cale, don't forget the awesome games too. Ones with great world setting."
“Oh dang! You’re right! I might have t’ dig around for some of those, but I bet if I ask Psi or somethin’ he’ll have a few~ It’s gonna be a good.”
Shouldn't you ask Cale for the REAL cool stuff?
“Did you just put Cale an’ cool in the same sentence? Shouldn’t you rethink that a li–”
“Ask me for what Rock?” Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
“….we’ve been talkin’ about books an’ movies-” oh god his little brother’s face is already lighting up. We’ve opened the floodgates.
“COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE.” And we’re going to drag Rock off now.
“What does that even mean?!?!?”
“If I could do somethin’ like that, I really could change the world...” but how to start?
“I always knew my brother would be the one t’ die first. It was nice knowin’ ya Rock.”
Shoot for the Moon....
@crashadventure
Too long. Too long since it’d been just the two of them, since they could just be brothers. Cale can’t help but beam as they wander down the sidewalk, illuminated by the buzzing streetlights they pass beneath. Sure it’s not picturesque, they can really only meet up in the poorer districts, but who really cares? The younger bot’s grin doesn’t look like it’ll go anywhere anytime soon.
“So how are you guys plannin’ t’ do it anyway?” He asks with a hum, getting a roll of the eyes from his older brother. “Look just cause I might not make it doesn’t mean I don’t care! It’s a big deal t’ ya Rock.”
“I guess? I don’t know,” the older robot shrugs some. “It’s not like anythin’ll change really. It’s more like... a declaration? Fuck I don’t know.” Another shrug, as he points his gaze forward. “It’s just a dumb human tradition anyway. ‘s the kind of thing that--” they both pause at the sight of three figures up ahead. It’s not unusual for people to be skulking around at this hour but they look like they’re in a hurry. Could be trouble, could be they just don’t want to be spotted by anyone.
Can’t hurt to check it out either way.
A very furry, very angered, teal reploid crashed right into Cale after a rift opened just a few feet behind him. Not quite realizing the change in her surroundings, Taloura grabbed him by the scruff of the neck; growling. "How dare you beat up Geo Gargoy-! ...Waiiit." Tal let go of Cale and seemed less angry. "Who are you?"
Despite being hefted up by the back of his hoodie, the young reploid is anything but afraid. Although Taloura wouldn’t wouldn’t see the cold unreadable expression that temporarily manifested, nor would she catch wind of the weapon sliding into his hand from under his sleeve.
A lucky thing for both of them she put him down. The compact weapon is subtle slipped back into its resting place. Cale dusted himself off, turning to her with a huff. “Someone you’d be wise not t’ interrupt.” Normally he would’ve tried to be more personable, but sneak attacks don’t deserve manners.
