@ocsareawesome asked: A roughly two and a half foot tall, mechanical dragon approached Zero with a look of concern. Sonari could hear the other's core racing from halfway across the room. Speaking with the voice of a kid, she cautiously asked "Mister Zero, are you ok?"
Under normal circumstances, Zero's response would have been to just give the concerned hunter a firm smile and shake of his head. It didn't matter how he actually felt; unless he was speaking to X, or someone from his own Unit, the answer was always just- I'm fine! Don't worry about me.
Maybe he had just gotten off of a particularly hard assignment. Or he had just finished up a tough training sessions. Or any of another handful of excuses he had at the ready if he needed to use them.
All of those responses went out the window when he caught sight of the other. Reploid was the simplest term to use, though the last time he had peeked through restricted Hunter files he could have sworn he had seen mention of unknown origin and potential alien lifeform.
It was probably something he should look into further.
"I'm fine." He crouched down to be closer to her eyelevel. "You don't have to worry about me. I promise."
(Sonari) FOOP!
Hey, @ocsareawesome you sent this ask to me last year in July. Sorry I didn't get to it until now. I hope you like it.
(Adult!Sonari) A portal to another world became accessible to Xehanort. If he chose to explore, he'd find the land buried in frozen volcanic ash. Though if it weren't for the ice, the air would be unfit for humans to breathe anytime the ground was disturbed. The ruins of a futuristic looking city dotted the land, though one of the more complete structures had comparably recent, patchwork repairs done on it. The footprints of a huge reptile near singlehandedly tamped down any trails through the land. Returning home with a pile of scrap metal in her maw, Sonari saw the portal and grumbled something indecipherable, though exasperated sounding.
Xehanort stumbled just a bit as he stepped out of the portal, curiosity pulling him. He could see his breath, if such had been applicable throughout the sudden strange atmosphere. Why was he led here ..? Him, out of all the people? The elder master tossed his vision all around, attempting to make sense of the ruined city - but he supposed creatures could have destroyed it? Or even worse -- the people had. Something caught his eyes and he made a small noise of awareness, letting his shields climb.
He wouldn't summon his keyblade just yet - but he most certainly was on guard.
''Where am I?" He suddenly demanded towards Sonari.

Y'know that talk of XANA being a fruit reminded me of something. Once, when I was trying to type 'xanalyoko', autocorrect changed it to 'cantaloupe'.
❀;; -- "You know, autocorrect has become the bane of our existence for just this reason. Probably why we stick to just calling one another instead of texting. It only takes a couple of times of texting 'Xanax is attacking' before you just write off autocorrect entirely."
(Adult!Sonari) A citizen of the Federation reported seeing 'Ridley' return to Tallon IV. In truth, they had mistaken Sonari for him. The black, mechanical dragon was in the process of digging a burrow to rest in when she fell through to magmoor caverns; shrieking in fright. The attempted burrow collapsed behind her.
It wasn't long for Samus to get the report, the Federation knowing well that she was the most capable at dealing with Ridley, or what could be described as. She wondered what Tallon IV since that planet isn't inhabitable anymore, nor is there anything useful for the Space Pirates. Not one to take chances, Samus traveled through light speed to the planet, with the wonder if Ridley was alive in the back of her mind.
She wondered along the surface area, until spotting tracks that were fresh. Something was indeed here. She followed the trail until coming to what her scanners detected was a cave in that lead underground. She opened her map on her visor and saw that below her was the Magmoor Caverns. It would be a trip, adding precious time already, so she sprinted down the path. Leaping, vaulting, and blasting through terrain, she would find the lift that would take her down. Her suit acted as a power source for it to function despite the lack of maintenance.
Once down on the floor, Samus proceeded forward with cannon armed, being careful on where she stepped or what could be lurking down here.
I associate you with gryphons. Specifically, I keep imagining Opal's beast form to be like a gryphon with a lynx face and white tiger build.
That's not super far off! I've been mostly imagining her with more lioness influences as of late.
Though her horns are something I have trouble with, especially when drawn from the sides.
You ever think maybe Samus having to fight evil clones of herself so often is like, a literal interpretation of her having to fight for self love? Like, that she gets moments where she blames herself for not saving certain people in her life and has to actively remind herself that it isn't her fault? That she's doing the best she can?
i could see it, especially with how Dark Samus is handled in Prime 3
