{` ☆ — love around the corner
"Don't go outside, you'll catch a cold."
What a perfectly ironic statement to make to one who can't recall when they last felt warm. She didn't bother with a jacket or gloves or a scarf. Hell, Hyuna thought they should be grateful she still wore sunglasses and a hat to shield her face from discovery but with the snowfall and the lack of people crowding the streets during such a cold time of day, she wouldn't concern herself much with the notion.
Nearly all that had been brought to her attention felt pointless to protect or prevent in any manner. Her health— what was left of it anyway with the constant pains and efforts to not upset her condition. Her identity— why hide from her fans when she seemingly had less with all the hate she incessantly streaming in through a plethora of media outlets. Her state of mind, because who in their right mind would let her out alone?
But that was how she had gotten to that moment, still donning the clothes she would've worn within the confines of their dorm, the thin material thin and flimsy at best when compared to her warmest winter coat. Languid steps had taken her to the main road that would eventually turn into the path that would quickest take her to that building where Minki and his mother lived, where she was supposed to live and yet there she was struggling to breathe.
