starting a challenge in the sims 4 for the first time! meet ella weaver.

i’m starting a challenge with her that focuses on getting all available collectibles (and making a museum to house them in) combined with rags to riches rules: no job, start with 0 simoleans.

while she’s an alien, i won’t be using any alien abilities that would impact the integrity of the collector challenge! it’s just for flavour. she’s a new arrival from sixam and is interested in discovering everything on this planet.

after starting out with 0 simoleans to her name, the first few days of roaming around mostly involved ella passing out all the time. it was winter, so she couldn’t fish on the colder days.

sometimes she went to sulani instead, but it was always thunderstorming. so that wasn’t an option, either.

just when it felt like ella would never catch a break, she went to a karaoke bar in the city. she never really sang much, but joined the contest on a whim.

and shockingly, she won! despite only getting 21/100 points. so she finally got some money: enough for a tent, so she wasn’t crashing on park benches or in lobbies anymore.

the next day was winterfest, and she was camping out when father winter arrived with a gift: a slablet. her first expensive item!

after doing as much as she could for winterfest (not very much!) she went fishing in windenburg.
