Stealing was an easy thing to do. At least for something as small as this. This wasn't breaking to grab some blueprints or plans from another gang, and this wasn't stealing some stupid, powerful gem. This was a simple robbing of a store.
One that Ely didn't have much problem entering and avoiding the cameras of. The trickier part was getting the jewelry out of the case without causing an alarm to go off. Careful...

Look at this awkward boy with his new family.
The DeLyons had found Ely completely unconscious in the street and took him in. He woke up to not knowing who he was or what was happening. They gladly took him into their home and soon adopted him. He was definitely happier there, and if asked he'd say it was the most normal he ever felt until his memories returned to him and soon after destroyed the family.

There was a smile from the girl as she watched Dan peep out from under the blanket. "I got all kinds of stuff! I got hair stuff and new bracelets and Ely got me this new skirt and shoes!" The lion cub held out her wrists to show off the bracelets as she mentioned them.
"I'm right here." Came the voice from beside them. "She really wanted to make sure we got something for you."
Ely losing weight because he is focused on feeding Molly first.
That was not how that was supposed to go. The red hedgehog was sliding down the alley's wall with several huffs before carefully rolling his pants up to get a better look at the injury he had just received. That had hit deeper than he expected it to.

Ely was soon sharing his own look of frustration.
"...Please tell me you're joking." That whole thing had been a complete waste of time and energy. Ely didn't even get anything out of the whole thing.
"You mean to tell me I cut off my main source of income because of a group of idiots wanted to ass kiss my creator of all people?"
Chaos, he could punch something right now. Or cry. Ely had been doing odd jobs for Eggman and Krisha just because they paid often enough he didn't have to worry about how he was going to pay things. Unlike now.
As if to mock him, his stomach gave a growl. "Ugh!"
