It was a few days late, but that was okay. Time meant jack to a toddler and so when Gibbous saw Molly, the first thing she did was run up and stand up on her haunches with the package in her mouth.
"Crimmm-isss!" Maybe slightly muffled, Light chuckled as he watched her hand over the gift to her friend before sliding something himself to Ely. The toddler's gift was a blanket she had picked out while shopping with her dah. A sherpa style that would be nice and warm for winter.
Light's gift was what looked like two wristbands. Subtle in color and easy to hide. "They're solar charged, but will allow you to keep track of one another and communicate. I had some spare parts after making the one on Gibbous' vest."
Molly was excited when her brother told her that they were meeting back up with Gibbous and Light. She enjoyed her new friend, even if there was a bit of an age difference between the two. Ely was pretty sure Molly just liked being a type of big sister to Gibbous.
The package was unexpected, and Molly was full of glee at the blanket. Quickly she wrapped the blanket around herself before moving to wrap Gibbous in it as well, along with a hug. "Ahhh thank you!! This will keep me real warm!!"
There was a smile on Ely's face before he turned to find a present for himself as well. He couldn't help the slight frown and furrowed brows as he took the wristbands. The unease feeling he always got when he was given things was present, but he had to admit this was a great idea. It wasn't something he liked to think about, but he knew he had a few enemies - or people in general - that wouldn't be afraid to use Molly against him. This would be a great way to make sure she was somewhere safe.
"Thank you." He mumbled. "Sorry we can't return the gesture." As much as he would've liked that. At least the most he could do right now was make sure these items were used properly.
