no worries, nonny!!! i will explain what it means to me, but it may not fit for others. no offense is intended!!!
classic prose fashion means exactly that, it’s prose. details when needed, expressions described, internal dialogue when appropriate. things are straight-forward & clear. more ‘popular’ fandoms that rp (doctor who, marvel, dc, & the such) have become filled with purple prose. a lot of replies are highly formatted & little things such as the spark in a character’s eyes for determination are drawn out & NEEDLESSSLY bolded as they DIG INTO a more f u r t h e r analysis. it makes the replies longer but have less actual content that a partner can work w/to reply. as much as i dislike it, the style has stuck w/me to some extent & i’m like so… cautious at it showing too much.
i love the classic prose fashion the inu fandom has been able to stick with. i love it, it’s beautiful, it’s something that one can work w/always imo & yet always allows for more deeper situations without making things seem dragged out. i love it, really.
