Jamie and Hajari have been together for a year. Maybe not on this exact day but I remember it going down early/mid January. The bros are gonna be alright :'v

Hajari would’ve been really shy about telling Jamie tbh. Twigs and Wrecks already know... but because they’re a pirate and a subordinate respectively. so Jamie’s the one person he would have to tell outright and that would’ve been pretty nervewracking for him. but he would’ve been relieved after --scared that Jamie might reject him for it but relieved he finally shared a big part of his life with him.

Jamie and Hajari have been together for a long ass time... probably long enough that Hajari’s just gone and spilled the beans about being a fucking drug lord bc Jamie is not just his so but his bro. and hiding a really prominent part of his life was starting to get to him since it’s been the real reason he’s been too busy to give tumblr a glance.

Idk how many Hajaris in space au would have run-ins with the military but I’d feel sorry for Jamie if he gets slapped with the same pick-up lines over and over again because he comes across different clones.

Thinking bout domestic scenarios: - Hajari carefully shaving Jamie's face for him, with Jamie sitting on the toilet lid so he's relatively on the same level. the radio quietly plays in the background - in turn, Jamie trims Hajari's hair after he's just gotten out of the shower, combing through the wet strands and silently snipping at split ends - they're eating snacks while watching tv and their hands bump in the dish - on the couch: Jamie putting his feet up and settling them on Hajari's lap, and Hajari absentmindedly starts massaging them - one of them is making something on the stove and the other hugs him from behind, planting a kiss on his neck or the top of his head (accounting for the height difference here) - showering together bc they're both running late for work and there isn't a second bathroom - or, taking a bath together when they have the time and there's contented cuddling - the dog wants to go out at an odd hour of the night and they sleepily pat at each other until someone gets up and handles it

Jamie/Hajari Ship Meme

Saw this ship meme on Mel’s blog so I’m just gonna fill it out myself instead of asking people to send me things bc I’m a nerd like that.

Who takes longer showers? Mmm… I feel like Jamie would? He’s particular about his hygiene and how he presents himself. But Hajari’s not rigid with routines and I’m sure there’s days he smells like funk. When he does shower he hops in, cleans the essentials, and hops right out again.

How do they make up after a fight? They haven’t had a serious fight yet but they seem to diffuse friction by cuddling while talking things out. Sex might be on the table, but yeah I think that snuggles (and possibly naps) would be a thing.

Who prefers rain and who prefers sun? UM. Hmm. Good question. Hajari likes when it rains. Not that it really rains in the aven canon bc desert, but in general he’s really happy about rain. He loves water. I don’t know Jamie’s preference.

What’s their favorite place to go together? Mmm… they might not have a favorite spot around town. But they do hang out at each other’s houses.

Who’s more likely to be voted prom king/queen? Both of them, because Hajari would’ve rigged the votes to pull a prank on Jamie but then Hajari ended up being elected himself because other people thought it would be funny.

Do they celebrate anniversaries, etc.? They would! Hajari likes having excuses to party or go out, so he would make a point to try and do something for any sort of big anniversary. But he’s also the type to make up anniversaries too. “It’s the anniversary of the first time we ate salad together,” or “the anniversary of the day we never got out of bed.” Some of that his him being cheesy and wanting to be around Jamie, but really a lot of those anniversaries would be set-ups for pranks.

Jamie wouldn’t care so much about the little anniversaries (and I’m sure he’d catch on that it’s Hajari hinting that he’s planning to screw him over with something) but he’d be invested in the bigger stuff and could have suggestions of his own on what they should do to celebrate.

Who’d pressure the other into singing karaoke? I think there’d be mutual pressure? It wouldn’t be serious… just dumb bros being dumb bros. And then they’d both end up on the little karaoke stage doing something like Baby Got Back or Pony.

What’s their nightly routine? They don’t live together rn in aven. But whenever Hajari sleeps over he’d just do what he does at home: carelessly chuck his clothes somewhere, smoke a blunt, and then crawl into bed. Jamie might have a routine before bed bc he’s more careful about his appearance.

Once they’re both under the sheets they might talk if they’re not too sleepy yet… sloppy makeouts or maybe something else if they’re in the mood. And then they go to sleep :v

Who’s more likely to burn dinner? They both can cook alright, so I think it’s unlikely that they’ll burn a meal. If they’re cooking something separately anyway… I can’t guarantee something won’t get charred if they’re both distracted.

First time that happens Jamie would probably want a picture of him "please let me savor this moment you look so hella cute" he'd enjoy it even if his shirts look like they're eating Hajari alive

Hajari would gladly oblige. he gets really into wearing things for his partners if they’re into it, so he’d let Jamie get away with more than one pic if he wanted multiples. and he’d do obnoxious kissy faces or lewd gestures on top of that... this is the sort of thing he’d stupidly go all out with.

he’d be considerate enough to ask before altering any shirts though 0: cos he doubts Jamie would want to walk around with a shirt that has giant slits in the back of it
