Breath caught in his throat as he stared at the Crownguard. Of all the people for him to see again it was her. Although it had been quite some time. From what he had remembered, Lux was merely a young mage when they had their first encounter. Deep down he had felt bad for tricking her. But in a way, he felt that doing so he did the right thing.  She tried to stop them, they wouldn't listen. So he had to stop it himself, to make a point to the nobility that they couldn't just get away with anything. It was a shame really, he never wanted to hurt her in the process. But it was something he was willing to risk, although he was hoping that he would never see her again.

“Lux.” He says, a greeting with a curt nod to her. He wouldn’t blame her for blasting him away then and there. But the man seemed to go through hell and back. It appeared he was unable to sleep for weeks with how dark his eyes were.

Massive metallic claws rested upon the hilt of his blade that was planted into the soil. He had never traveled but it was one of the few moments where he had left his ‘home’ to find a new area. Despite wanting to end everything, the darkin found solace in solitude. A rare occasion for a being who required a host to live. He was never alone, not truly, but for once he felt calm.

As his eyes gazed outwards at the fields that spread to the horizon, he had shifted slightly. He stood still for what had seemed for hours, and with this he had noted he had company. Perhaps the human had though he was one of the various carvings that decorated the land. It wouldn’t have been the first He was confused for stone. His skin was rough and as dark as obsidian along with the armor he wore. Red eyes narrowed, turning into bright suits against his shaded complexion as his head turned to glance at the small human.

“You are quite far from civilization aren’t you.” He says suddenly, breaking the silence of the jagged mountainside to get her attention. “A dangerous area for something so gentle looking, do you not fear the creatures that lurk in the nights?”
