Cash wasn’t sure what possessed him to request permission from Ben to drink with Marley. Maybe it was because they’d hit their twenty first birthday and hadn’t spent it together. It seemed like a rite of passage or something. An experience they should have shared together but didn’t due to distance. Regardless, being a notorious lightweight, he was now lying on Marley’s floor next to her bed, legs curled up and over the edge. It was a ridiculous position and he giggled at the sight he must present. “Bob! I think I’m drunk.” He tried to sit up and quickly gave up, flopping back on the floor.
