“Happy Birthday Hiyori! I love you so much. Thank you for the laughs, the joy, and for all you offer. You’re amazing—you made me dream and brush myself off to kick ass. I never knew the true miracles of family and planting the seeds of my harvest until I met you.”
Hugging the petite blonde Vizard close, Mashiro hands her friend a box decorated in rainbows and cupcakes.
Mashiro’s cheerful laughter filled the room like strawberry bubbles. Hiyori couldn’t believe how lucky she was- she hadn’t realised that Mashiro even had time today to come all the way out to wish her a happy birthday. The small vizard managed to fight off her delighted smile for all of thirty seconds before it spread on her little, freckled face.
“Geez! Yer such a sap, Mashiro!” Hiyori muttered, though she also felt the same way. She believed they were family. Like sisters that had survived through laughter and hardship together. Hiyori accepted the box and immediately bit into her decorated cupcake.
“Tastes good- is this from the bakery in Odaiba? Thanks for goin' all that way.”
