Hiatus

I'm sorry to say this blog has come to an end.

Apart from myself, there were 2 people on average participating in our recent prompts. I never expected this place to get big, it doesn't need to be, but I have to be honest: 2 people simply isn't enough to make it worth the time and effort to continue an entire blog and event for. I refuse to put that weight on their shoulders. This should be a community, or not exist at all, and regretfully that community i tried to band together doesn't exist.

I gave it some time hoping a couple more people would join, but unfortunately no one did. And looking at the amount of notes the creations got, I can't exactly blame people for not spending their time and effort on this either.

I know when to take a hint that people simply aren't interested, so I'm stopping this event before it starts to feel like a hostage situation.

Thanks to all creators (i love you all🫡❤️) and everyone who supported them and was willing to make graphics, picspams and edits booming again. I'm sorry I failed you in making it happen. Believe me when I say I'm incredibly sad and sorry this didn't work out.

Stay creative. Stay kind. Have a terrific summer. And hopefully better (fandom) days will be ahead. For now, goodbye💔

LOVE BETWEEN FAIRY AND DEVIL FIRST ANNIVERSARY MINI BANG.

Everything in this world is fate. Only love, is not fate.

The Love Between Fairy and Devil/Cang Lan Jue Mini Bang is a fandom event for writers and artists, with the goal of creating collaborative work based on and inspired by the hit 2022 Chinese Drama, Love Between Fairy and Devil. It is in celebration of the first anniversary of the series.

Participating authors will each write a fanfiction of at least 5,000 words. Once the authors have decided on and submitted summaries for their work, the stories will be claimed by artists and matched. As the author works on completing their work, they will collaborate with the artist. Then, each artist will create at least one piece of accompanying fanart. Once we reach the deadline, all fic writers and artists will 'reveal' their work, resulting in a 'bang' of LBFAD fan content.

SCHEDULE

Signups for both artists and authors will open on AUGUST SEVENTH, aka the first anniversary of LBFaD.

We hope to see as many participants as possible. Please let your friends know, even if they are not on tumblr. Please also share our post regardless of whether you plan to participate or not. After all, more LBFaD fanworks is good for everyone. The more this spreads, the better, as we are a rather small fandom. 💜

Every single one of our Cdrama Gotcha For Gaza prompts has been filled! If you donated and didn't receive a fanwork, please let us know immediately. Chances are you did, and it somehow didn't get linked to you. However, if not, we need to remedy that.

If you haven't already done so, please let your creator know how much you appreciate their hard work. Thank you so, so much for participating in this event. It was wonderful, and it couldn't have happened without all of your enthusiasm (both creators and donators alike).

By the way, early next year our team does plan to kick off another Cdrama related project for charity. As of right now, the charity is undecided, but please look out for it. 🥰

I am curious to see if there is any interest in the continuation of this series. I left off at 3x01 and due to my complicated feelings regarding this show, I haven’t had much motivation to finish. However, if enough people want it, I will keep going…especially since I’m a completionist at heart. I really need to make this decision soon in order to catch up before S4.
