Eloise found the time around the lunar new year to be exciting. The feline had learned much about the festivities and culture of her home nation through her tutors and shows she watched. However, stuck in the confines of Paris, she had never had a chance to experience it for herself. In a island full of such a pantheon, she knew that that chance would come, and as it did, the demigoddess spared to expense in indulging her missed culture.
Dressed in a beautiful qixiong ruqun, the demigoddess went from stall to stall before she found her eyes landed on a stand that had the most interesting handheld lanterns. As her gaze pondered over the various animals and signals, the feline could not get her attention of a specific fish design. However, the person beside her seemed to have the same idea as they picked it up to grab.
With a frown, the demigoddess nudged them. "I'll buy you a lantern if you let me have that one."
