Appearance: She’s has a lean and statuesque built although also quite well-endowed and curvy (long legs, full breasts, perfect ‘honey thighs’, slim waist, and her rather skimpy attire doesn’t help either). Her presence gives off a confident, beautiful, and sexy aura. Has a flower shaped tattoo near her right pelvic area also, a beauty mark/mole on the right side of her lower lip.
Hair: Long and quite wavy, mid-thigh length. Often seen with a right side ponytail. The color is a mixed shade between red and brown (maroon/burgundy-ish)

Skin: She used to be a bit paler, but after staying over for a while in the Southwestern area, it has been quite tanned since then and becomes olive-colored.
Personality: Nana’s been retaining her hot-blooded and tomboyish personality since young, although her temperament has been calming nowadays (you still don’t want to make her mad tho). She always tries to think one step ahead but mostly ended up making impulsive decisions. Nana is pretty much blunt and is not afraid to speak up of what’s in her mind. She’s always full of confidence and held herself in a high pride. She can be a bit of a tease around her husband, as she likes to frustrate him out of it. Despite her teasing habits, she’s a total tsundere when it comes to Motochika’s affections. She has her own perverted side which she doesn’t want to show to anyone. Apparently Motochika notices it and teases her a lot about it with his body, in which she embarrassedly denies. Even though she has a very beautiful and sensual appearance, Nana doesn’t like to act flirty, though sometimes she does uses her beauty and body much to her benefits.
History: Nana was originally from the Saito clan, the clan whom ruled the Mino Province. She’s one of Saito Toshimitsu’s younger sisters and a relative to Nouhime, whom is also her childhood friend. She’s been a tomboy since her early age and excelled in martial arts better than most of the boys (which quite pisses Toshimitsu off because of it). She wasn’t well-liked among her female siblings because of her tomboyish persona and prefers the company of Nouhime, who also acted like her big sister to her. She was also acquainted with Akechi Mitsuhide, but constantly tried to stay away from the enigmatic figure. When she reached the age eighteen, she was told to be married to a nobleman from neighboring clan, which she tried to refuse. Just hours before the wedding ceremony began, she decided to ran away from her home with no specific destination.
Days after, she finally reached Shikoku, thinking that her family won’t even be able to locate her. Unfortunately, she was captured by a local pirate, tied up and gagged until she was completely helpless. Worst, she was about to get raped until finally, Motochika rescued her after raiding the ship. He quickly fell in love with her at the first sight but Nana did not return his affection at that time. Not wanting to return to her homeland, she decided to stay over with Motochika and his crew (much to his delight), though (very) hesitantly.
After staying over for one year, she found herself happy being by his side although she didn’t want to admit it. His crew loves her (heck, they even have her own personal fanclub) and her personal skills proved to be useful when they’re dealing with their enemies. One night, she finally confessed her love to him and they made love (PS: She didn’t make it to the pregnancy, although she’s definitely not barren—she’ll definitely bear his child sooner or later). Finally, she asked him to return to Mino Province for a while, to announce that they are going to be married. After reaching agreements from both families, they were happily married back in Shikoku and she stayed with him permanently as his wife.
Relationship(s):
Chousokabe Motochika: he’s the love of her life. At first, Nana did not return his affection because of her initial fear towards pirates (she was about to be raped by one, she cannot help it). But after staying with him and his crew, she grew attached to him and ended up loving the man because of his easy-going personality and his loving, friendly attitude towards his crew… and not to mention his hot body. After marrying him, their relationship gets even closer, with them challenging, teasing (she likes to call him with his old nickname Himewako just to piss him off), and helping each other. However, it doesn’t mean that they never argue and have a fight with each other. They do argue at times, but it usually ends up with both of them apologizing to each other at the same time or either one of them goes to apologize first (usually Motochika has to initiate it first especially when she’s on her period). He definitely loves her for being herself, yet at times he’s sometimes worried that Nana would leave him (why does he think so? look at the quotes above) for another man, but she proved it wrong. Both of them can be very possessive towards each other. Also, they’re the most sexually active husband and wife pair (at least in my headcanon).
Nouhime: her big sister figure and also her childhood playmate. Nouhime is several years older than Nana and gets along well with her since their childhood. Their relationship was so close that Nana usually calls her with her real name ‘Kicho’. Nana was not quite well received by her own female siblings, so she constantly looked up for Nouhime as her female friend and also as a big sister figure. Nouhime was worried for Nana when she ran away from home, but then went to congratulate her when she was married. Nana was visibly depressed when she heard of her death.
Akechi Mitsuhide: Nana was acquainted with Mitsuhide since her youth; knowing him as a strange and enigmatic person so that she constantly tried to get away from him. And of course, she was pretty shocked to hear that Mitsuhide was rebelling from Oda and killed Nouhime in the process. She tried to get her revenge for Nouhime, but ended up losing track of him soon after.
Megohime: one of her best female friends. Nana knew her since the temporary Chousokabe-Date alliance was formed. They found each other as fun and ended up being best friends. Both often goes to seek advices with each other and goes on gossiping about their respective army/husbands, though sometimes they argue who’s husband is the best and comes up with weird reasons to prove it. Nana often lets Mego play with Ponta-chan and keeps in touch with her via letter after they were separated.
Myokyu: Nana’s apparent rival. They are most likely snip and throw insults at each other then ends up with physical fight. Despite that, Nana grew sympathetic of her because of Motonari’s seemingly unloving attitude towards Myokyu although the latter denies it (she even wonders how does such a gentle-hearted lady like her could end up with an apathetic jerkass). Myokyu secretly envies Nana’s powerful confidence and Nana also secretly envies Myokyu’s sophisticated, ladylike quality. Nana thinks that they both could actually be good friends, if only their factions didn’t clash with each other.
Tsuruhime: Nana is fully aware of Tsuruhime’s hostility towards her husband but she doesn’t seem to think of Tsuruhime as a bad kid like her husband does (she thinks that Tsuruhime is just a bit… lost). Tsuruhime calls her with the insulting nickname ‘sea witch’ though, which irks her at times.
Trivia(s):
Nana is a very bad cook (8 out of 10 of her cooking attempts failed miserably), but she’s trying to learn.
She’s well versed in using weapons, except for archery.
Despite her tomboyish personality, Nana loves exotic jewelries and constantly tries to get her hands on them, though it has to be authentic and visually appealing to her.
Her breast-waist-hips ratio is 97-76-89 (in centimeters)
Her favorite food is actually every kind of seafood (except sea urchins), but her absolute favorite is shrimp.
She has a domesticated pet hedgehog which is quite small for its species’ size and often hides between her breasts (it’s small enough to hide between them without being noticed), nicknamed Ponta-chan. It was given by Motochika as a present. Apparently it can grew big magically and turns into a giant spiked steamroller to assist her in battle.
Motochika’s parrot, apparently likes her very much, and is often heard calling her name too.
In the Japanese script, she refers to herself with the pronoun ‘ore’, reflecting her tomboyish personality. Her speech pattern is quite similar to Motochika, although hers is slightly more feminine sounding.
