// I think that when the addiction is taken lightly or romanticized or affects character only when it's fitting for rp, I find it offensive towards people that had to deal with it. I personally had to witness it in my family and it just rubs me wrong way when it's used only for some quirky plot purposes. It must be presented in fiction/rp because it's part of life as well but definitely not in manner like most people do. Sorry for butting in it's just something that I think about a lot too.
