Fears

I've always been a closet romantic at heart (closet only because my dislike of seemingly every girl's favorite romantic movie of all time makes me appear rather odd), so I've always concluded that my greatest fear is never meeting the one that I could call my, to use a rather cliched word, "soulmate." It seemed like a rather reasonable fear at the time; after all, the world is populated by millions, billions of people. Who's to say I'll ever met them with everyone out there?

I don't believe this is true. I believe that everyone meets the one that they could call their soulmate one day, be it a full meeting, a passing glance, whatever.

So understandably, my fear isn't that I'll never meet them anymore.

My new fear is that I'll be too blind to notice them and when I finally (if I ever) do see them, that I'll be to scared to go for it. Too inhibited by the "what ifs" that often run rampant through my mind.

I have never been more scared of anything in my life.
