Threads of Fate
@mpondine
Lupin desperately needed a full-time assistant. While he had managed to get hired help from time to time, an assistant would have saved him the trouble of going to the store. With so many projects, the demigod was in desperate need of new thread for the various embroideries that he needed to do, though he was on a time crunch already. After some quick work, the cart he had grabbed at already been covered, fabric slightly draped over the side and spools of different thread and yarn covering the bottom.
Having turned the next aisle, the male stopped in his place, almost hitting a woman before him. Before he could even apologize, his eyes widened at the familiar face. It had been years since he last Ondine, and if he could recall, it was as he was following his sister along. Regardless, she had been a friendly face and one he hadn't expected to see on the island.
"I apologize." He speaks finally, clearing his throat. "What a surprise, but not as well, to see you here."
