He’s not going to be too happy about this news. If anything he’s learned from the assassination classroom, it was that being an assassin full time would soon enough crush your soul. As it did with Bitch-sensei.
He would probably try and contact Bitch-sensei and Kurasama, to see if they had any information on his boyfriend’s project. If it was anything that put them at more risk of death than being a “regular” assassin then he would ask him to see if he could reconsider his life choices.
It doesn’t matter if it is the only thing they know. Karma will make sure that his boyfriend has the materials to begin to integrate with the normal society.
He’s seen how most of the pro assassins he’s met, couldn’t see themselves doing anything else besides assassination. It was a very risky business.
Karma due to his job as a bureaucrat, would also do everything within his power to stop his boyfriend’s experiment unless his love has stated he would like to continue as an assassin.
He wouldn’t just up and leave his s/o over finding out. He’s not that type of person, even if he could be a potential target. Hell, as a business man, he knows, there are going to be some people who dislike him that much to kill him.

Karma would support his boyfriend no matter the assignments, he would even become the decoy if need be. We all know, he’s not shy of a brawl.
