SOOOOO I had a realisation
In canon they put all the villains on the isle right, and so obviously the more powerful ones rose to the top of isle hierarchy (Maleficent evil Queen etc) but then for me that then raises the question of where are Hades and Chernabog?
What I think happened is that for Hades, he is still in the underworld, and since he is a god they cant confine him anywhere on the earth and restrict his power with magic, but we do know he has a presence in the Descendants canon as there are a few murals of him with the ‘long live evil’ slogan in the background in scenes on The Isle, meaning that he would be kept elsewhere, possible in a prison like Zeus put the titans in.
And so now comes the biggie. Chernabog is like this huge mega powerful entity that is a representation of the Slavic god of the night, who is shown to transform out of a mountain and become sentient. So, when he is dormant he is literally part of this mountain. What could they do against a being of enormous dark power that is literally part o the earth? Turn it into a bloody island.
I think that instead of trapping Chernabog on the isle with the other villains, Chernabog literally is the isle, and is held in that state by a spell by Fairy Godmother
anyway i can’t even right now, but I am curious to see what you guys think about this?
