synopsis : after months\weeks of dating, shinichiro finally presents you to his loved ones, but the reaction are not what he expected, to say the least

short post because I've been working on a Rindou fanfic for over a month and still haven't written a single chapter. I'm lazy fucker. But I promised myself I'd be at least somewhat active on this account, so enjoy .

˚✦ oh, where do I even get started? When you agreed to go on a date with him, for a moment he really believed he was in heaven. Even though he wanted to cry from the rooftop about it and everyone could see that something big had happened, Shinichiro still didn't want to share the news yet.

˚✦ the reason? He knew what some of them could be like and all the things they would say, so for once, before scaring you, he decided to be selfish and keep a low profile. (Also, knowing his luck, he was worried that in less than a week you would have breaken up. He didn't want to be made fun of for the rest of his life. For this too.)

˚✦ the first person he would introduce you to is his grandfather. I can see him literally crying because his little Shin has finally found someone, and someone cute, no less. Some might argue he'd rather tell his siblings first, but let's be honest, he knows full well how overbearing they can be, and the same goes for his friends (plus Mansaku is the only sane and mature in that household). So, if you are okay with it, he'd prefer to introduce you to him first to dimostrate how serious he is towards you. However if you think it's too soon, he'll understand and wait. In the meantime, the next ones you'll meet will be his friends.

˚✦ since they're the same age as you, he thought it would be much easier for you, lots of teasing, but still less awkward for you.

˚✦ It's no secret that they were all pretty intimidating. Benkei scared you the most at first, but surprisingly he turned out to be the kindest of the three, even complimenting your outfit. As for Wakasa and Takeomi, they had NO filters. As soon as they saw you enter the bar holding hands, they just glared at you up and down before exchanging a dirty look.

" Um..." you looked at your boyfriend, worried that something was wrong with your clothes.

" is he paying you and how much?" Takeomi asked, putting away the half-smoked cigarette. "hope the money are worth it," the other added

˚✦ Benkei kicked them under the table and they later apologized for the rude assumption, but still it took them weeks to believe they were actually dating Shin because you REALLY liked him, but eventually they got used to having you around and are happy for their stupid friend. After all, they've seen him going though +20 consecutive rejections... as long as you don't start doing corny stuff or any sort of PDA. Seeing their friend all over you is disgusting . Benkei is the only one who doesn't say anything, at least.

˚✦ unfortunately, it is now time to meet the rest of the Sano's family.

˚✦ you can't escape it anymore, Shinichiro may had managed to keep the secret up to this point, but Takeomi was absolutely spilling the tea to Senju and Sanzu when he got home after your first meeting because he couldn't believe it, so it's inevitable. It's already a miracle that Shin has managed to go "unnoticed" until now. Although, it must be said, the only reason no one was suspecting anything is because ehy, we're still talking about Shinichiro at the end of the day.

˚✦ like, even if Shinichiro doesn't want to yet, Izana would quite literally start stalking you 0.5 seconds after hearing the news. shit like popping to your workplace - not even buying anything, just walk around, stare at you from afar and leaving. Mikey is even less discreet, PRAY you never run into him before shin introduces the two of you. It's no secret that Mikey doesn't enjoy sharing his beloved's attention, especially with a complete stranger. And he is not subtle at all.

˚✦ so, the day after meeting his friends at the bar, before you can fill any restraining order, Shinichiro is forced to show up at your house and explain the situation, even bringing you flowers to apologize for the inconvenience. And here you are, once again, at the door of Sano's in the evening.

˚✦ Emma is the first to welcome you and she immediately loved you, showering you with compliments. She always wanted a big sister! And now that you know each other Shin always asking her for help when it comes to gifts or understanding your mood swings or passive-aggressive texts

˚✦ for a moment you even thought that Shinichiro was exaggerating, after all they were kids, no?

˚✦ ...that is until you met the last two siblings. Mikey kept his tough persona (which is a kinda weird considering the fact that the reader is in their twenties), but he's quite easy to win over: just bring some sweets, bonus points if homemade, and he's even more friendly than Emma. Also, it's funny to shittalk his brother about how much of a loser he is

˚✦ But don't even get me STARTED on Izana. He's the quietest of the three, staring into your soul the entire time with an indecipherable smile: just occasional questions, but keeping them as general as possible to make you paranoid about every single word that was coming out of your mouth and what he was trying to get from you. He eventually mellows out, but it will take him quite some time and a lot of background research to get his full approval

˚✦ also, honorable mention, Inupi does hang around the shop a lot, and like Izana, he watches you in silence every time you stop by to say hello. Even with your back turned to him, you just knew he was sizing you up. The worst part? He hasn't said a word since he heard the news, not even after Shinichiro introduced the two of you. Of course, he was very polite, but it was suspicious that he had not expressed any opinion on you nor the situation. Like Izana, he keeps an eye on you and wants to understand why you even like Shin. We all known he's a loyal boy and Shinichiro means a lot to him, so he is definitely doing his research with izana.

˚✦ with time passsing by you eventually become a ‘regular’ around the shop and the Sano's house. And giving no sign of wanting to leave, you eventually met the other "boys" (even though some of them are 18 or older) and become a well-known face among the Toman. You can be 100000% sure that no one will ever bother you on the street or at night.

˚✦ last note about his siblings, at first the situation is still manageable... but when they start to get comfortable? You might start thinking about leaving. I'm not even talking about "when are you getting married?" typa questions. I'm talking about straight up FIGHTING over baby names and who will be the godfather of firstborn.

˚✦ not even a year of relationship has passed by btw.
