This time, Gary's promised (fairy spouse) can be any gender aged 45-75 (but with fairy aging, a fc between like 37-50-ish). Like, come onnnn guys it's so juicy!!! Finding out the man you've been married to for 20-30 years (depending on age of spouse character) and have 2-3 children with has a secret daughter older than your children together? Dramaaaa!
Realizing the reason he changed his tune about having kids not just because you wanted them, but because he felt guilty??? Good stuff.
I'm aware I can NPC this role but I think I'd enjoy this plot even more and it'd be so much more dynamic if he had a spouse in play! So I'm going to refrain from crafting an NPC for a few months in case anybody is interested and wants to chat. This is actually the song that made me want to do the Fairy Gary plot in the first place, hearing this line. It immediately made me think of that Gilmore Girls storyline where Emily and Richard separated and Emily went on a date with a lovely man, got home, and immediately sobbed bc ultimately that man WASN'T RICHARD and I was like wow, imagine separating and being like but no other person is MY person.
Anyway, that's not exactly how this plot would have to go. But it's one possible angle to take.

The song really starts out like "wow this relationship is doomed" but it comes all the way back around and you want Love and Hate to make it. And I feel like, again, if the reconciliation route it taken, this song is big inspiration for it.

Using this as a shameless advertisement to come fill my plot call for Joy Mohanty's ex from her time living in India. The plot can shake out multiple ways, not just the possible ways listed in the doc, those are just ideas!
I love the right person wrong time narrative I've set up here...but IS it the right person wrong time? Was Nameless Ex really the right person, will there ever be a right time for them? Have they -- or at least one of them -- moved on?
Both Joy and her ex will be at very different places in their life and will have grown and changed since Joy chose to leave India and come home for Gem's release from prison the first time. What does that mean? Does that even matter?
This plot could be so JUICY, and there's so much freedom to craft your own character and do all kinds of plots with them, just with having this Joy connection!
