POLL: Which Of Clary Acosta's Potential Prosthetic Legs Are You??
Are you:
A. The Crystal LegB. The Floral LegC. The Stereo LegD. The Light Leg
Question to answer about all of your muses: who does each one think the Creeper is?
Booker Cormac
Booker doesn’t believe it’s the most obvious choice, such as someone like Clary, @saintjimmys , @sidwurm , or @fuxking-axel. He’s had enough experience with bad people to know that the worst ones are always hidden in plain sight, ie. Lydia, @jules-grant-is-guilty , or someone even more seemingly innocent such as @leviathanjames or @abel-white . He had some doubts about @maxbronte originally, but they’ve since been dispelled. She’s trying far too hard and being far too stubborn to be the Creeper. It’s definitely not a staff member, that he knows for certain. Overall, he’s not as sure as he’d like to be about it at all.
Clarisa Acosta
She’s not too interested in finding out exactly who the Creeper is, but more what their intentions are. She’s a violent girl with a taste for less than pleasant things and her gift of legs only served to pique her interest, rather than get under her skin. She hopes it’s someone hot, frankly, mostly because she wants to have weird sex with them.
Jupiter Hudson
Jupiter has no idea who the Creeper is, but she wants to stab them. Repeatedly. She doesn’t take well to people who threaten herself or the people she cares about, despite how she’s been taught not to care about people. Part of her worries that it’s someone she’s close to, like @xnicorn or @damsel-butnotindistress even though she knows that’s absolutely ridiculous and it’s just a side effect of not wanting to trust people. Other than that, however, she has no idea.
Lydia Asher
Everyone and no one all at once. She’s absolutely terrified that anyone could be the Creeper, but she also doesn’t want to believe anyone is that terrible -- even though she considers herself a horrible person. People like @saintjimmys and @sidwurm come to mind quickly and she thinks maybe one of them is capable of it, but strangely she doesn’t hate them for it. She’s sure that the Creeper has a reason for doing what they’re doing, even if what they’re doing is awful. Perpetually the optimist, she hopes that the creeper isn’t entirely terrible.
Grey Caverly
It’s gotta be one of the students, right? One of the freaky ones that’s probably committed murder or definitely committed murder. He’s instantly suspicious of that mother fucker @saintjimmys and no not just because he thinks he’s a creep to start with. But other than that, he’s at a loss for ideas. Not that his investigative skills are all that great, truthfully, but he likes to think he’s not just clueless and the Creeper is actually really well hidden.
Mercy James
@braylon-the-ta is her first guess, mostly just because she wants a valid reason to justify her dislike of him, but she doesn’t genuinely believe it. Other than that, she’s a little too insular to make a good guess on anyone else. Everyone not in her family -- or Eve -- is suspicious to her, frankly, which isn’t a healthy way to live but no one ever accused Mercy of being well adjusted.
Ophelia Radcliffe
She doesn’t know and she doesn’t care. All she wants is for them to be gone and out of her life as soon as possible because after the gift they gave her, she still hasn’t been comfortable staying late hours at the school without a can of mace and her keys between her fingers. She’s freaked out and worried beyond belief, but attempting not to let it show because she needs to be a good example for the kids.
Etienne de Sauveterre
He hasn’t had the misfortune of coming face to face -- or face to gift, rather -- with the Creeper and as everyone knows, people aren’t really his strong suit. So, long story short, he doesn’t have the faintest idea, but he doesn’t like the idea of someone being able to do such horrible things and get away with it.
Felix Matua
He’s only just arrived at the school, but even he’s heard about the Creeper. Everyone’s talking about them and he’s terrified that the gifts will escalate into something a little more like what his brother did.

“It’s not murder if no one will miss them. Yes, I know he probably has a family, but they sent him here so they obviously don’t care. And if they’re smart they know he’s shitty. Shut--Shut up, alright? I know what the fuck your shitty laws say. I also know that I don’t just want to sit here while some jackass fucks with a girl for his own amusement. What? No, I barely know her. She’s weird and wears bows. I don’t talk to people that wear bows. No, it doesn’t fucking matter. He’s not strong. He’s not a fighter. No, no, not all killers are the same. A predator and a parasite aren’t the same. Fine, fine. I won’t fucking hurt him. But if he touches anyone here, I’m taking that as a sign that I need to continue my father’s work and weed out the most poisonous plant in the garden because I don’t care if I don’t like Max. She deserves better.”

💗- a memory about a good deed they did
Clary isn’t one to pretend that she’s anything but exactly what she is. Sure, she lies for the sake of not going to jail, but she’ll admit that she’s angry and violent and jealous. It’s the just the way that she is and not everyone knows the full extend of her crimes, but those that do understand the fact that her anger has driven her to murder. She’s a killer and she knows that, in some peoples’ minds, that’s the worst thing that anyone can be, but she knows that she has her rules. They separate her from the scum of the earth, allow her to claim some kind of moral superiority even if she’s never going to be the good guy in any story.
One of those rules -- and possibly the most important rule she has -- is that she never screws with children or attentive parents. Shit parents are fair game, as long as the kid has somewhere reliable to go, but pregnant women are an absolute no-go. She was hurt so much as a child and it turned her into the broken angry thing that she is today and she never wants to be responsible for doing that to any other child.
That rule unexpectedly came into play during her reign of terror at her old school, back on the night that she decided she was going to kill Eva Crawford. She was a miserable stereotype of a blonde bimbo with all the bitchiness and bullying that came along with that, so Clary wasn’t exactly consumed with guilt over the idea of removing her from the world. Just like every other murder, she pulled on her mask, signature red hair tucked away where no one could see it, colored contacts in and chest bound down with ace bandages underneath the most miserably ugly shirt she could find, doing everything that she could to disguise herself. It was late at night, 5am after a party where she noticed that Eva hadn’t had a drop to drink, but she’d just blamed it on the shit taste of beer.
She stayed hidden in a closet while everyone else left, waiting until she was alone with the blonde to sneak out and corner her in the bathroom. One knife held a gloved hand, she expected Eva to scream like the rest, to put her hands up to protect her pretty face or delicate throat. But that wasn’t what happened. Instead, her hands went over her stomach and she pleaded, desperate and tearful not to kill her because she was pregnant. At first, Clary didn’t believe her, but the proof was in the pregnancy test in the bathroom trash, buried beneath a suspicious amount of tissues.
It was a risk to walk away, a risk to leave someone alive now that they’d seen her even in her disguise, but Clary had her rules. She wasn’t going to become someone like that, wasn’t going to be some disgusting slasher killer with no morals and no goals. No child was going to suffer because of her. So she turned and left, hiding her disguise behind a dumpster in a back alley behind a club no one went to and when Eva texted her, desperate for support after the slasher had gone after her, she went to help her ‘friend’. It was twisted, backwards and screwed up, but Clary never breaks her rules. Never.

"When I first heard that you had hurt my brother, I was scared. Not only was I scared for him--his health, the damage you had caused--but I was scared for me. I was scared of what I might do when I confronted you. Part of me was afraid that I would lose control, that I would hurt you in return, and part of me hoped that I would." (Jonah)
“Do it next time. Find out how good it feels to lose control because I bet you would have felt a lot better after trying to snap my neck. But now, instead of that, you just get to feel sad and repressed.”
make sure axel doesnt find out you slept with ruby he might try to kill you
“Somehow I doubt that. Greatly.”
