Believing that Letterkenny, Shoresy, and Heated Rivalry all take place in the same universe is a personal choice and it’s one that I make every day
Caught up on the latest Shoresy seasons and needless to say Vi would be THIS down bad for Caitlyn
the thing about shoresy is they're scrounging up some ringers for this senior aaa hockey team they're trying to save. they introduce a character who is a black quebecois guy who used to play in the nhl who is now a rapper and who got suspended for attempting to climb over the barriers and out of the penalty box to beat the ass of someone in the stands who called him a slur. and you're like, that's neat. and then you look up the actor and realize that he's played by a guy with the same government name who was drafted to the nhl who is also a rapper with the same rapper name and was also suspended for attempting to climb over the barriers and out of the penalty box to beat the ass of someone in the stands who called him a slur. and you're like well damn. i feel like he should have been allowed a few minutes alone with slur guy without anyone saying anything.
SHORESY 5x05 | Total Buy-In
ted lasso was like: what if being kind and being competitive weren’t mutually exclusive?
shoresy is like: what if being kind and being a massive fucking cunt weren’t mutually exclusive? AND YOU NEVER LOSE AGAIN.
i rly think ppl should watch shoresy to get the other side of the hockey fiction coin, wherein the hockey (and its inherent violence) is the point rather than secondary, and as ridiculous and funny as it is (very!!), it does give great insight into how seriously canadians take hockey and their small towns and how hockey has functionally replaced religion as the de facto community-builder in a lot of places
I’M GNAWING ON THE BARS OF MY CAGE SHORESY IS SO HOT
