He liked to talk. That was immediately obvious. And so she let him, offering the occasional interjection to stay seemingly interested as he talked. And talked. And talked. But that was what men did, they talked and wanted a round of applause for it, and that was her life. Listening to men talk, and being paid for it-- outside of the obvious other things she was being paid for.
This one wasn't paying for anything yet.
But she listened anyway, interest only really piqued when he spoke of other places. Why was it, that the people able to do as they chose, and go where they liked, always seemed the least appreciative of the fact? Always.
"Tell me more about Transylvania." Even if she never truly left this building alive, she could at least hear about anywhere else. Framed with a flirtatious grin, she finished his drink since he hadn't touched it. "Is it cold there?"
